the staff were exceptional - the gentleman at reception was very nice and incredibly helpful. the room was a good size and had a very comfortable bed! you could leave the air con on whilst going out which was great!!

there were some ants in the room which is properly difficult to change given the older nature of the rooms. the property is about 30 minutes from Lamai town on foot down a busy dual carriageway. there is also a steep hill right outside the property but it is definitely worth the stay if you don’t mind a walk or you are confident on a scooter.

Samui Reef View is a small family run resort with nice sized rooms and comfortable beds. It's nicely tucked away, but only an 8 minute walk to the beach, a 24-hour mini market, and launderette. It has a lovely swimming pool plus a bar and restaurant. They hire out scooters, which is very handy for getting around the island. The family and staff are very friendly and helpful. They will do everything they can to assist you during your stay. We found it good value, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Kai the manager is one of the nicest , most helpful people I have ever met .Nothing is too much trouble for him .I feel the hotel's popularity is in large part due to Kai !

Very welcome and friendly. would stay there definitely again. Its comfortable and clean, 5min walk to the beach. 15min drive to lamai clubs and bars.

This hotel is a little bit old but super nice, what makes it the best is the Receptionist/manager who takes care of you as family. This guy really do everything he can to make your stay comfortable. 11 ⭐ for service. Pool is nice, view is great, quiet and clean.

Actually the only thing is the beds, as usual in Asia they are to hard for me.

Kai, the reception guy was amazing, good person, he five us all what we needed and even more! The place is clean in the middle of the jungle. There is supermarket 5 mins walk from the resort. So book now!! (;

The place is not close by walk to the center, where all the food, markets, bars, beaches... Recommend to take a motorbike that tou can rent from the resort, the same price and even less then in the other rental services on the island.

The owner. Was a very nice man and helpful. The room. It was pretty big with a big bed and was clean. The pool. Was definitely a good bonus and the pool was warm, clean and good size.

The bathroom. Needs serious updating as the shower dispenser is 20 years old. The pressure is also nonexistent. And on top of that, our shower gel dispenser was broken. So not great. The housekeeping. In 5 nights, the towels were only changed once and I doubt the cleaning was done. The location. It was a bit far from the main beaches in Lamai and Chaweng but that was because we were on foot. If you can rent a motorcycle, you can get to anywhere in 10-20min. The owner rents some for 150/200 baht a day, which is a very good price. Also be aware that the owner does not do breakfast anymore, even if other reviews mention it, so we had to find a place to have breakfast every morning. (Highly recommend the Homegrown x Cafe KOB which was incredible and pretty close)

Great pool! The price for room was very reasonable. Don’t expect 5 star, rather a quiet and comfortable location with ocean views.

Restaurant was still closed post Covid so had to find places to eat each day. Hopefully some refurbishment of the resort will happen after 2 years of closure.

What a view!! So beautiful and peaceful. The location is great. Away from the tourist crowds yet not so far away on a short motorbike ride for anything you need. The swimming pool was clean and beautiful. The innkeeper (Kai) went above and beyond to help us with planning and was there for anything you needed. I can't say enough good things about the staff and hotel. We will be back.

Great place to stay in koh Samui, clean and very friendly staff, helped us with every request. Scooters available to rent also at a very reasonable rate which makes the full island accessible:)

Big spacious room. TV has Netflix but you need to login. Prime Video & YouTube. Hot water. Quiet at night.

Obviously the pandemic has taken its toll. The place needs a little refurbishment. Other than that the place is fine.
