For a single guest, the accommodations I had were perfect.

The location is on the outskirts of the town. With the omnipresent powerful winds, walking into town is difficult.

Nice feel to the place and very welcoming staff. Great location with a lovely view across the fjord. A little out of town so quiet, but just a 20 minute walk to the centre. Helpful staff, permitted us a late checkout when my husband was poorly, thank you. Handy to have a restaurant on site with a varied menu.

Not easy to keep the room cool as the windows didn't open and although we closed the blind down to keep the sun out, the cleaning staff opened it so our room was very hot. A lot of beds in the room so not masses of space and our double bed was made of two singles with different heights! The design is nice, kind of rustic with lots of wood but rustic in finish in several places too!

Very warm welcome from Maia. Nice location and comfortable rooms. Convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Anyone with mobility issues might struggle with the steps, happily not a problem for us, just something to be aware of as the hotel is on a hillside.

I had the chance to spend 3 nights at Weskar Lodge. For the first night I booked a small room with sea view, whereas the two following nights I booked a superior room. Both rooms were really comfortable, clean and well decorated. The view from the rooms was really astonishing. Breakfast was varied and abundant. Receptionists were kind and helpful. I do definitely recommend this hotel.

The property was incredibly great value! Beautiful views, room and common spaces and the breakfast was great. They even let us store our luggage while we went on the W trek.

Room was a little tight for our two suitcases, and you need to get a taxi into town but we were more than happy to have a lovely 3 course dinner at the lodge!
