Me quedé en este hostel una sola noche en habitación compartida de 6 personas. Tiene recepción las 24 hs y ascenso por ascensor y escalera. La ubicación es buena, a 20 minutos caminando del centro de Dublin, el barrio es tranquilo y es uno de los más lindos de la ciudad sin estar alejado. Hay jaulas para guardar tus pertenencias, pero no te olvides de llevar el candado, en la recepción venden pero podes ahorrar llevando el tuyo.

La habitación: tenía poca luz natural y se sentía claustrofóbica, una sola ventana que estaba bloqueada por una de las literas, incómodo para abrir la cortina y la ventana para ventilar, incluso me pareció chica para tener 6 camas. Para llegar al baño había que caminar como si fuera en un laberinto y la cantidad de duchas no es suficiente para la cantidad de habitaciones y camas que hay. El baño estaba medianamente limpio, se podría mejorar y mucho. En las duchas podrían poner algo para apoyar tus pertenencias, tuve que poner la mayoría de mis cosas en el piso, lo mismo podrían sumar una pequeña mesa o estante en la habitación. No hay cocina, por lo cual no sentí que me estuviera hospedando en un hostel, no te podes cocinar y esto te obliga a salir a comer afuera, hay un bar con mesas pero me dijeron que no podía traer comida de afuera, muy mal. Repito, no se siente como un hostel. El desayuno se cobra aparte y por los malos comentarios opté no pagarlo y desayunar afuera. También te cobran las toallas. No volvería salvo que mejoren todas estas cuestiones.

Dirty bathrooms in both the ensuite room as well as shared public ones. Not well maintained. Very noisy, you can hear everything when someone is in the bathroom (ensuite). All Slamming doors in hallways, room entrance and toilet. Hot rooms.

The bathroom was in horrible condition. The water was flooded in the entire bathroom when I arrived, and the toilet was clogged. I didn't expect much luxury for 40 euros, but functioning toilet facilities and hygenic conditions are the bare minimum!

The pizza i had for dinner and the large breakfast were both great. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and as private as a bed in a 6 bed dorm could be. It was good to have a bathroom with shower for the 6 bed room. Overall everything was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was annoyed to have to pay Eur 6.50 for a padlock - why not rent a padlock for the one use? Also, Eur 4 to rent a towel is a bit expensive. The bathroom could do with some hooks or shelves for clothes and maybe disposable bath mats to stop the floor getting so wet.

Very cool place, a nice bar with billiard and shuffleboard tables. A very nice social area to hang out with friends! Location is conveniently near the city center and a shared bike point, making movement around the city easy. Friendly staff!

The rooms were pretty hot and didn't have AC. Pillows weren't great, pretty thin.

On the second night of my stay I returned to Generator around 2am with a friend who was waiting for the buses to run to go home. It was 2 degrees and we left the house unsheltered so we decided to wait in the lobby but the staff didn't let us stay and they didn't give us any explanation. They were two Argentinians (don´t remember their names) who spoke very badly to me and despite seeing that we were outside sitting on the floor dying of cold, they didn't care and they were making jokes out of it.

Die Auffüllung des Frühstückbuffets hat leider nicht funktioniert. In der Dusche waren noch viele Haare von meiner Vorgängerin zu finden. Die Türen und Wände dienen nur als Abgrenzung - null Schallschutz! Man hört alles! An erhohlsamen Schlaf ist nicht zu denken - hat man dann auch noch das "Glück", dass eine Schulklasse im gleichen Stock schläft, dann ist es besser man findet sich gleich damit ab, dass man mit 4 Stunden Schlaf auskommen muss. Preis/Leistung stimmen nicht überein! Ich würde nicht nochmals dort übernachten

Ik vond het een gezellig hostel op een semi-rustig pleintje. Lidl en Tesco Express in de buurt en een paar goedkope restaurantjes. Ik zat eerst op een kamer waar ik me niet comfortabel voelde, maar mocht toen gelukkig naar een andere kamer. Bed comfortabel en stabiel. Lampje en 2 stopcontacten bij het bed en een grote bak die je op slot kan doen eronder, dus dat vond ik erg fijn. Dekbed was ook erg comfortabel. In de bar is het in de avond erg gezellig en iedere dag wel iets te beleven. Om 23:30 stopt de muziek en dan wordt het rustig. Onze kamer was direct boven de bar, maar ik heb hier nooit last van gehad!

Mijn eerste kamer was op de tweede verdieping, terwijl de toiletten en douches voor dames alleen op de eerste verdieping zijn. Dit vond ik niet erg aangenaam. Verder zijn vooral de gangen en badkamers wel toe aan vernieuwing. Allemaal wat verouderd, zeker voor de prijs die je betaalt voor het verblijf. Bedden zijn duidelijk wel nieuwer. Kussens overigens bijzonder plat.

The bed is comfortable, the room is warm, I like that there are female only rooms. Laundry and other essentials available onsite.

This was my second stay within a short amount of time, I was dissapointed again with the cleanliness and noise. I understand it’s a large hostel and a party hostel but people are also there to sleep and I think there needs to be more monitoring and respect around that, there were people next door constantly knocking and slamming the doors and people running through the hallways, there seems to be lots of young groups who don’t know how to act in a shared space. The bathrooms need an upgrade they are old and don’t work properly are not suitable for sharing, there’s no where to put your toiletries, there is lots of mould and grime, the toilet flush didn’t work properly, water gets all over the ground and there is no shower mat, there is also zero soundproofing for the bathroom which isn’t great when people are going to bed late or waking up early. I think the standard of the hostel needs to be revisited especially as it’s not a dirt cheap hostel, and has potential. I think a lot of it comes down to lack of care because it’s a hostel and it would be nice if there was more care because hostels can be a good experience and most people still want a clean and comfortable space. Also why have doors the naturally slam and are impossible to be quiet in a building without soundproofing?

Skvělý personál, perfektní lokalita ve středu Dublinu, dobrá cena. Určitě bych se ubytoval znovu. Moznost vyžití - kulecnik, disko, restaurace. Great staff, perfect location in central Dublin, good value. I would definitely stay again. Possibility of use - pool hall, disco, restaurant.

Clean rooms and toilets. Staff are nice and friendly. The pub at the ground floor.

The pillows are thin and can cause neck pain. The barrooms are flooding sometimes and water clogs.

Exceptional value. Facilities were good. 6 ppl dorm, adequate bed & very clean bedding/pillow. Bedside phone chargers & lights were handy. Showers/bathroons were great. Very impressive large communal area with live music, bar, games etc. Staff very friendly n helpful. I didnt utilise them but there were laundry rooms. Bustling Dublin City Centre is only a short (15-30 mins) walk away. Didnt have the breakfast (€10) but it looked good.

I'm 6'2", so beds could've been more spacious. Also advisable to bring your own towel & lock for bedside locker. I forgot earplugs so had some trouble sleeping due to loud live music downstairs & snoring in the dorm.

Great location, very modern with lots of facilities. The staff is super nice and the bar/cafe is very cool!

It would be nice if the beds in the dormitory had curtains, that way you don’t have to disturb everyone by turning on the lights or stumble around in the dark with your phone, just a tip!

The room was clean and quiet. I had a 4 bedroom dorm which was mostly me for the most time. I didn't need to bother anyone. Perfect for me. Check in was smooth and there is always someone at the reception. Always helpful people around

The bathroom was not super clean. Shower was dirty and looked not well maintained. Bring some locks, because the locks to lock your valuables are 6.50€ (2023).

The location and staff are amazing!

However the room was horrible, probably the worst I have ever been in my life. Thank God I stayed here for one night and wasn't here much time. The lighting was so dim and disappointing. There is no natural lighting. The bathroom tile was dirty and musty.

The location was great, and the public spaces were nice for the rugby match they were showing. Lots of diversity in terms of where guests were coming from, and a generally young demographic made it appear to be a great setting for socializing and meeting new people.

The bathrooms were disgusting—hair and grime all over the shower floors in every stall, the shower curtains were all stained, the toilets constantly clogged. Maybe this was due to the high volume of guests, but staffing should account for this. Additionally, the beds, though comfortable, did not have any curtains to block out light, which made it easy to disturb or be disturbed by dorm mates and the lights in each of the beds totally unusable if you wanted to be courteous.

The friendliness of the staff

The toilet was not really flushing in the dorm. The system for opening and closing the locker lid was broken, I got my thumb badly smashed under it (quite dangerous).

This has a their own bar to just relax and watch football match on the Television.

The staff at the reception was not helpful. They are there just to take money from the guests who are there to stay.
