The breakfast was great. Fresh and delicious. The pool was small and clean while the room itself was bigger than expected with beautiful wood ceiling. The staff and owner or manager were excellent, friendly and trustworthy. Would recommend absolutely!

We loved the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful. Our room was large with all of the amenities and a beautiful garden balcony overlooking the pools. Breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to the beach. And Sámara has the best restaurants with fresh seafood! The internet was fast and reliable.

The ambiance in the hotel is weird. The pool gives you a cramped feeling. There are so many things stalled and hanging there, I did not like it at all. You can also not swim there since they built an underwater barrier (wall) in the middle.... I have no idea why. The building itself is unique... I would like to meet the architect. First you walk some steps up to the lobby, then down to the pool and the first set of rooms. If you have a room on 1st floor then you walk up, down, up ,up.... if you have luggage then this is just torture. The free parking is locked and you need to get a member of staff to open the gate for you. To access the parking you have to walk alongside the hotel, which is a slippery. When you drive out of the parking you are on a very muddy dirt road with large holes... The location is a bit out of the town. It is doable to walk even in the evening to get a snack or drink but is can be a but dangerous due to the traffic. Bring a flashlight.

Nice oasis, quiet and peaceful with incredibly helpful staff (thanks Gilbert & Fernanda in particular for all your advice with transport and just being lovely/approachable anytime) Great breakfast each morning. Very clean facilities and all in all, just a great place to stay. Felt like a home away from home 😊

The staff were absolutely lovely; really friendly and helpful. Good traditional Tico breakfast and coffee and we were very glad of the room's air conditioning.

Some of the communal areas – around the pool and the upstairs reading/exercise room – were a bit cluttered. They would benefit from less furniture and more space, perhaps removing some of the pool loungers/chairs from the former and the exercise equipment from the latter.

Close to the town of Samara but not in the middle and clean roo. The employees were very nice.

the pool was amazing with enough tanning beds and a nice common sitting area upstairs

It was perfect. The room was spotless and the pool was very nice. The breakfast was really good but the best part was the staff. Everybody was very nice but the young man, who was in charge most of the time during our stay stood out because he was super friendly and helpful.

I loved the privacy and calm atmosphere of this hotel! the AC (which is a must for me) was great, the staff were kind and very helpful and the breakfast was phenomenal! would definitely stay here again.

The bed was a little hard for me and the location was just slightly more out of town than I expected. however, it was an easy 10 minute walk into town or the beach.
