The staff was not very efficient at check-in

The room was filthy there was fat in the microwave the shower was filthy and the carpet had food on it

They left the key under the door mat for me.

I walked in to the room had a odd smell I opened the microwave an there was a old plate of food with mold I almost spewed up my dinner.

The staff are very friendly and helpful

A little expensive but that’s Mt Isa.

Value for money yes but?

Room had a very cheap makeover, (quick paint and new floating floor boards) unfortunately due to tiles cracked in bath/shower water seeped through the walls and flooded all over into the bedroom next door which had the new flooring. Didn’t like the queen bed being on rollers as it moved very easily on the floorboards, just rolling over the bed would move!

Most uncomfortable bed, wifi not working despite requesting help, poor parking facilities, poor room layout and not very clean.

There was not enough plates and cutlery etc.

Very loud neighbours. No water one night. A bit run down.

Nothing. It was not a pleasant experience. From check in ....

Don't bother. Spend the extra $25 and stay somewhere decent. The photos and description take poetic licence. What wi-fi? Dirty cutlery and crockery. Shower hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. I'll stop there. The manager is not an easy person to deal with....my description would not do justice if I continued. She was obviously unpopular with others staying at the property. Too hard.

Not much. The space of the room was reasonable and that’s about it. The manager was friendly enough but in terms of managing the motel, not too sure this is the business she should be in.

Where does one start. While the room was reasonable, the attention to servicing the room was poor. No light in the bathroom, no tea/coffee, no facial tissues despite a tissue box dispenser, first tv in a motel without a remote, no pool cleanliness and not available despite signage stating a feature of the motel. The exterior surrounds and location very basic and not at all conducive to a pleasant stay. Raised some of our room concerns with the manager who seemed non-pulsed about the room servicing - it was the housekeeper’s responsibility who from our perspective was one of the motel guests’. A budget motel that was grossly below budget.
