We returned a little later one evening to find out we had been locked out of all entrances. We were never told about the after hours entrance through the gaming room. And whilst trying to work out anyway in we were harrassed at the front of the motel. We weren't offered anything for this serious inconvenience, and potential safety risk.

Good breakfast, excellent staff. Conveniently located within the hotel. Nice early start with service commencing at 6:00 AM.

Lack of Secure parking. I had to relocate my vehicle due to the potential of vehicle break in during my stay.

We loved the balcony. It made the room.

It's difficult to fault this hotel. We stayed in Mt. Isa to attend the Annual Rodeo. The Red Earth Hotel actually exceeded my expectations - the room was large and well equipped. Very comfortable and well decorated. The hotel was noisy - but that was due to the Rodeo events nearby, and we were forewarned by the hotel!

It would have been nice if there was a bath in the bathroom - there is plenty of space for one ! The room also has no windows - I like to get some fresh air at night. The airconditioner was making a noice - so a little irritating.

Rooms nicely fitted out and our room had a nice sofa, chair and coffee table, bathroom roomy & clean.

Nothing to complain about.
