Location wise it was very comfortable to be and my movements, but it's not a town center hotel
The room was so well sealed that it created some condense during the night.
The pillows were too fluffy for my taste.

The hotel is beautiful in a simple, clean, updated way. The room had a great view overlooking the city. There was a Nespresso machine in the room with coffee and sugar, along with 2 free pastries. Upon check-in, the manager/owner brought a refillable bottle of cold water to my room. The room was plenty large enough for 2 people and the bed was comfy.
It was a little far from the city center and you have to take a bus. Trying to figure out which bus was a little difficult since I don’t speak the local language. But once you get there, the views are beautiful.
The only thing I didn’t like about the room itself was the green “nightlight” on each of the 2 reading lights by the bed. They were very bright. However, I propped a pillow against one and hung a piece of paper over the other and that worked fine to block the light.

a mino thing: walls are a bit permeable to sound, so we could hear the conversations of the neighboring guests at night.

Great location. Right next to the bus stop, and about 10 minutes away from the center which makes it very convenient. it’s also in a very calm and relaxing area. Rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning and staff are very friendly.
You’d have to buy or bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. as the ones provided are very small.

I have made a mistake by booking a double room for a single person and staff were kind enough to bring an extra bed sheet and a pillow with no extra cost. The room had a nice relaxing view and there was a coffee machine too!
As others pointed out, lack of personnel was one of the issues. I would prefer to pay during check-in (for an extra person) and get service without needing to look for receptionist under heavy rain. I was only told that the booking was for a single person when I went there for the second time. This was due to language barrier, I think. If they can improve the situation a bit more it would be an amazing place.

Lugano is expensive so this was a great deal. Nice and clean room in a good location if you come by car.
The parking was a bit fiddly but worked just fine.

Very friendly and professional staff. Individual approach to every guest. Wonderful coffee and complimentary croissant in the room.
Walking barefoot was not an option for me - floor was cold for me - but this is more personal remark, for someone it is ok.

The staff were ok
First night was ok. Second night there was a party at the restaurant.
I complained about the noise(music and people were loud) @22.30
The manager told me that there is nothing to do that I should wait until 23PM
At the end it was finally peaceful @23.30 and they even told me that they have the right to make noise until midnight. Maybe they have the authorization from the city.
if I was informed about the party upfront I would never booked this place. Maybe they have the authorization to make a party from the city but I paid this place to rest and to sleep. I did not paid to enjoy the noise of a party.

Very clean and cosy room, where you have everything you need for a short stay. Air conditioner is available, did not check if it really works though. Nice view to the city.
Relatively far away from city center (30 mins walking to the lake), opening time of the restaurant is only from wednesday.

Great location, extremely friendly and nice host, the room is super clean and beautiful, an excellent view from windows. A lot of parking space. A new Nespresso machine with capsules refilled on a daily basis is a lovely bonus.
No minibar. Could be better to have more electric outlets (wasn't enough for three people )

The 2-room apartment was quite big.
There is a good restaurant onsite.
Cafe machine, full-size fridge and kitchenette available.
Away from the city centre, one needs to take bus (or car).
Wifi signal was weak in our room.
The restaurant was closed on Mondays and we found no other restaurant nearby.
