We want to thank Alessandro and his staff for a wonderful time at Porta di Castro. We were looked after and all staff went over and above what we expected. We loved the breakfast and our comfortable room. Thanks for guiding us in and around Palermo and making our stay a happy one. Thank you for the beautiful Sicilian basket, it was much appreciated. We would highly recommend staying here.

Everything went well! From the arranged pickup from the airport to the taxi back again everything was good. The style of the hotel is engaging and original, the breakfasts are magnificent and the pool is a delightful extra.

The service was great everyone was so nice and welcoming. We really appreciate the kindness and warmth of everyone that works here and the host especially. The design of the place was phenomenal, the spa is made of dreams and it is gigantic. It is absolutely worth it! Upon arrival we received a welcoming snack. (Thank you again it was si tasty!) The breakfast was fantastic and there was so much food you could never finish it. There was a mix of fruits and sweet pastries but also savoury additions eggs, ham, salami etc. (My favorite was the ginormous pistachio croissant.) In our room there were also snacks and drinks available. The location is amazing everything you need is close by and the trainstation too. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I can only mention minor issues that got resolved immediately and got taken care of in such a nice way that I wouldn't pay it all too much attention. But just because it's something that's always important to me personally at any stay: It was written that for our room we were supposed to have a water kettle because I'm a coffee lover and I would've loved to have that available. But upon request we received one immediately. The coffee I got from a grocery store nearby.

Beautiful boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They really do lay on a good spread for breakfast.

Breakfast is amazing, local delicacies galore. Car being taken away and securely parked for us. Bedding, particularly the pillows. Very good restaurant just up the road

Power outages. Learned to reset the box in the room but meant that gizmos didn't get charged overnight.
