Hotel was beautiful! Beds were comfortable! It was a great location, walking distance to everything. Being at the end of the main road was nice because it was not surrounded by parties and bars. The staff is so friendly! I highly recommend

The Gran Hotel Bahia is a lovely property located in the heart of Bocas town. It is a historical building with lots of character and an amazing 2nd floor veranda. No, there is no pool, but that is not what this property is pretending to be. The staff was wonderful and we had a great stay.

With all the amazing coffee in Panama, it would be nice if they figure out a way to offer more than instant coffee for morning wake up. Not a deal breaker, just an observation!

Terrible value for money. The hotel was probably built in the 60s and likely never updated since. I have stayed in other hotels that weren't great but for the amount of money spent, this is by far the worst value for the money that I can remember.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The historic building was fascinating! The terrace was a great place to chill out.

Street noise could be a bit loud in the evenings. Being a historic building, some of the facilities are not as modern, but everything is clean and tidy.

Breakfast was good but it was at a restaurant down the street. The hotel was within walking distance from the dock

The check in process could have been a bit smoother but this could also because our Spanish was minimal

I opted to include breakfast and paid for 4, but the confirmation did not show breakfast was paid for. I wanted to cancel and rebook but it said they would be a fee for cancellation so I did not. I tried explaining to the desk clerk but of course he could only go with what's on the confirmation I will file a complaint with booking.com when I return home since the problem was with the booking.
