Very comfortable and the restocked mini bar was great. We had a fabulous view of the harbour and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

A historic, elegant, and comfortable hotel.

There was a large event taking place around the hotel on the day (May 28) I checked out. Most of the roads were blocked so the hotel staff was unable to call for a taxi nor was I able to hail it on street. I need to catch the train at Sannomiya JR Station so decided to walk there. However, I was shortly stuck in crowds with thousands of people standing on the streets waiting for some performances coming up I guess, almost unable to move, particularly with one big luggage. Usually it should be around 12ish mins' on foot from hotel to the station whereas it cost almost 30 mins, last minute to get on the train. For such situation, hotel should have notified guests in advance so we could be aware of the traffic and plan earlier.

We got a discount and room upgrade via Booking, so we received some extra spoiling, but having said this, it was a great experience. Large rooms. Really well equipped. Great breakfast (their French Toast is amazing). The views. It is a modern hotel, but with heavy traditional touches.

Great location, 10min walk from Sannomiya station. Rooms are very spacious. Mini bar. Not far from designer shops and the harbour.

My second time staying at this hotel. Last time, I stayed alone. This time, I stayed with my family. We had 3 rooms. Love the decor, the entrance area, the lobby, the restaurants, etc. Overall, a great hotel and will certainly come back again when I'm in Kobe.

I like the size and the view of the room, it is really beautiful and great.

I do not like the carpark, as it is a lift type carpark, the waiting time is a little bit long.

Charming, great Japanese hospitality and a lovely bar with breathtaking views.

The staff are very helpful but because of their poor English, it took a very long time to sort things out.

The lighting in the room is a little too dime.

Very nice breakfast even if the room was busy but with nice views on the city as on the 17th floor. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we had great advice towards restaurants. Very nice and charming Japanese style decoration all around the hotel. Complimentary good mini bar.

The bedroom had some curtains we could not see so we got waken up by sun lights. So take time to ask questions or discover the room. Getting a taxi could take up to 20 minutes and that has to be taken into account.

The hotel has a luxurious feel to it.. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous, they make you feel like a VIP. The location is great - it’s walking distance from shopping district and the harbour. The room I stayed in had the biggest bathtub that I have ever seen anywhere.

Great location to walk everywhere from the hotel. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast options were unlimited, the French toast was a highlight.
