Good location--it was close to nice souvenir/craft shops. It has a big area to park buses, the reason why (I assume) this place was chosen by the organizers of our meeting.

Run-down facilities (only the lobby / ground floor looks nice; the guest rooms need an overhaul! Light switches are in a hard place to find, half the electric sockets didn't work, low water pressure for showers/flushing toilet. Old A/C system which didn't really work efficiently. Breakfast was mostly same every day and the staff were shouting loudly at each other which made conversation among diners difficult.

Stylish design, spacious, quiet, comfortable bed, nice jacuzzi and sauna and good food. Noone playing loud music or smoking, which was amazing... Most pleasant was just the whole feel of the place, it's really a hideaway from everything unpleasant in Kathmandu... Feels like a little oasis

There were some unpleasant smells, like maybe mould in the room and sheets and the steam smelled like ammonia

The staff is always nice

I’ve been a patron of Hotel Himalayan for more than 15 years. It breaks my heart to say this but the hotel is progressively going downhill. It’s dirty, rooms smell like mold and the hotel overall looks worn down

My room was extremely comfortable and very spacious. The bed + bedding were fantastic, I was very comfortable. The hotel was very nice and clean, staff very attentive and polite. I enjoyed the food in restaurant too. I would stay here again.

The pool wasn't very clean so I didn't use it.

Rooms and bed super comfortable. Staff were exceptionally helpful, kind, efficient and accommodating, so that just make the whole stay lovely.

Bathrooms adequate - clean, good water, but perhaps in a little need of updating. Breakfast and room service was OK.
