Kitty was a delightful host, taking time to show us around the property and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the little extra touches-sweets, chocolates and homebaking were much appreciated. The breakfasts were substantial and delicious. Thanks Kitty.

Room was beautiful, cozy and quiet. Kitty and Peter were fantastic hosts and the breakfast each morning was awesome. Location was so serene but only 2mins drive into town. Absolutely loved our stay

Beautiful location with plenty of birdlife around. Accommodation is small but has been very thoughtfully put together and to a high standard, it was perfect for a 2 night stay for us as a couple. Lovely host and we really loved the breakfast.

The warm, cozy, private cottage had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. The bed was warm and comfortable with lots of pillows and extra blankets if needed. The shower had great pressure and was lovely and hot after a day out exploring the Hawkes Bay. There was a small fridge for keeping essential food items and munchies for movie watching on the large TV which also had Netflix. But best of all was the homemade breakfast. Yummy toasted granola with strawberries and organic milk, coffee with cream and homemade pastries and rolls. There was also jams, peanut butter, Nutella, cheeses, cold meat, and fresh orange juice. I had it two mornings and I didn't want to leave. Thanks Kitty.

The attention to detail on the beautiful little cottage was lovely, even being welcomed by the 1930s music set a nice tone for us. The delicious breakfast got us off to a good start every morning... Fresh breads, museli and coffee.

Kitty our Host was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast she made for us was outstanding with the lovely pastries she made us every morning. The cottage is warm and inviting. The TV is great. Lots of lovely little touches around the cottage. Bathroom and shower where amazing.

My husband being over 6ft tall we are not use to a double bed. But understand this is not easy to change.

We loved everything about this property. The dwelling was small but so well set up for our needs. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and we loved the breakfast. We especially liked the effort that the owner went to when she found out it was to be my birthday one breakfast morning.

The best hosts and the best breakfast, just WOW! Beautiful views and so close to the city centre. The cottage was so cosy and just what we needed during our stay.
