The setting was absolutely amazing. Truly, the views, the height of the property, the gardens, the pool setting - all stunning. It was situated outside of town, but literally 4 minutes away - great location. The cottage is large and has pretty much everything one needs. Wifi was pretty good, the kitchen was quite well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were a nice size. There was no one in the other cottage, so we had the place to ourselves, which was really lovely. We could have easily stayed longer - would be a great base from which to explore the greater surroundings.

We were there in Winter and the cottage is very cold. There is a lovely fire, but it takes a long time to warm the main lounge - kitchen area up. A fire needs to be made in the afternoon and you need to have a lot of wood. The bedrooms are really cold. There are panel heaters and a gas heater, but they don't touch sides. The main bedroom has electric blankets, which is great, but once you are out the bed, it's freezing. The bathrooms could do with some storage - shelving or drawers where one could put toiletries. DSTV would be a worthwhile extra. The signal on the SABC channels was terrible.

What a beautiful setting. Close to town but feels like you are in the middle of the country.

Amazing! Spacious property. Pictures don’t do it justice. Great location only 3 minute drive to town. Incredible views. Richard was an incredible host, who was always available to help.

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Well appointed, clean, beautifully decorated, wonderful view, private patio, sparkling pool. What more could you wish for.
