The rooms were absolutely stunning.. the whole unit was.It was high end style, quality furniture ( the relaxing chairs especially), magnificent kitchenette and stunning bathroom. The main bedroom was separated from the lounge by the bathroom with a super king bed and 2 equally comfortable single beds in the main living, with the comfy chairs and a perfect sized dining area for 4 ( perfect if you need to work) and still so much space to move around. We arrived very late and our hosts left our apartment open for us.There was also a lovely courtyard for morning coffee . These apartments are truly upmarket and I would highly recommend anyone to stay. such a shame it was only for one night . A++

There is absolutely not one thing to dislike. it’s so central to the city and water and parking is right outside your front door!

I absolutely love 'the strand' and regularly return during my visits to New Plymouth - the rooms are spacious, super hygienic and it's such an easy process to check in and out!

Rooms renovated to a very high standard. Comfortable bed. Quality linen. First experience of check in by remote control:)

The apartment was on a main road so traffic noise was inevitable but we closed the windows overnight to take advantage of the effective soundproofing.

It was freah, clean, quiet and welcoming, great amenities and great hosts.

no soap (body wash only), no conditioner and no body lotion (maybe that’s the difference with a hotel?)

Spacious and clean, appreciated that it was within walking distance of many amenities. Check in was very simple over the intercom and despite being on a busy road once the windows were closed you could not hear it very much.

Sun umbrella for the outside sitting area as it was too hot to sit there without any shade.

it’s location as it is handy to most things within 5min to the centre. the place was new and everything inside was very clean, new and comfortable. the bedding was very good too.

the kitchen is small but it does the job for a quick breakfast and takeaway dinner and for a cup of tea.

The one bedroom apartment is comfortable and clean.
