Assim que chegámos ficámos deslumbradas com a área. A natureza envolve todos os cantos e invade os quartos. A Anabela, nossa hostess, foi extraordinária. Mais do que disponível para nós e sempre atenciosa com miminhos. O pequeno-almoço foi maravilhoso, tudo super cuidado e procuraram saber quais seriam os nossos gostos. A Flor 🐈 foi uma ótima companhia e nota-se, sem dúvida, que é a dona da quinta. Um sítio para voltar, sem dúvida!

Very good breakfast! The pool and the views. Bruna, who hosted us.

Our host was sweet and solicitous. We purchased breakfast brought to the room, and this turned about to be delicious and nearly enough for two days…packed in reusable containers. She was also helpful with restaurant recommendations. The accommodation was airy and spacious.

It’s a tough spot to find with only the address. Ask for directions! It was somehow not clear to us that the kitchen would be completely empty (aside from coffee pods.) If you plan to cook you’ll need everything including salt, pepper, paper towels (although a dish towel did appear on our second day….)

The host, the grounds, the details, the location, the serenity, the uniqueness of the property. The kids loved the pool (actually, we all did), we had our own private space but shared the grounds with others which made for nice interaction. We had many amazing meals down by our private bbq under the trees among the orchard.with the sun setting on another fantastic day..

Of course the staff, particularly Bruna. The location is special. The details, the care put into the architecture and design, the comfort of the rooms. It resonates with the region it is located in (Arouca) in many details, without being cliche. A place with soul.

The room we got wasn't very private or secluded compared to others, it was closer to the premise entry and next to some room being used for storage or logistical support. Some rooms seem to have a better and more isolated setting so i would advise you to check the options (there is a magnificent "tree house" that looks great on photos and even better live!).
