An amazing apartment, just beautifully decorated and fitted. Very homes and gardens, well worth a trip. Our host was fantastic too.

Fantastic apartment in a quiet location, we stayed in the ground floor apartment which has the bonus of a nice terrace area. The rooms were large, and beautifully kept. Phil, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. Only 1.6 miles from Lincoln Cathedral, easy and cost effective taxi ride into town, didn’t have to worry about parking nor paying for parking. Just brilliant.

This is stunning property beautiful in every way . We stayed in apartment 1 which tastefully decorated with lovely period furniture.

The apartment was perfect in every way. It was exceedingly tasteful and comfortable - and Neil was a wonderful host who went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

It was all outstanding.

The house was impressive, and located in a quiet residential area. The entrance hall was grand and welcoming, with a huge wood burner making it lovely and warm. The apartment was beautiful, with a huge lounge. It was so comfortable and warm that we had to tear ourselves away to go out sightseeing each day. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped (even to cook Christmas lunch). The bed was really comfortable, with lovely bed linen and cosy duvet. The bathroom had everything we needed. The fresh flower arrangements in the apartment, as well as a poinsettia, were really appreciated. However, the pièce de résistance of the stay had to be the Christmas decorations, inside and out. They were incredible, and summed up the thoughtfulness and attention to detail Neil that puts into the making stays at the Dower House so wonderful.

Neil is an exceptional host who provides impeccable standards in everything at the Dower House Apartments.

The house was beautiful. Apartment was gorgeous. Lounge area was comfy, warm, welcoming and had Christmas decorations up. Very spacious. Well-presented rooms. Bedroom had window shutters and overlooked garden area. Essentials left in kitchen.

Neil was an excellent host and the only word to describe the property is FABULOUS. Its excellent value for money. Very comfortable and absolutely everything to hand. We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay and will definitely aim to stay longer next time.

gas fire didn’t work no heating on , sat froze for 3 hrs then messaged host who put the heating on constant at this point the start of our evening was ruined partner went to bed cause he was cold went out on to what says patio it was over grown with weeds No ambiance at all

What was there not to like!

Neil was attentive and welcoming. Everything was clean and he had given so much thought to the smallest of detail. The design of the building décor, the grounds and our apartment were all so tasteful, with milk and snacks, plus a cake and flowers supplied. Toiletries and towels (including makeup flannel) was there for our use. It was honestly a joy to stay at the Dower House. I knew from booking that it was a real find , since Neil had replied quickly and answered my questions fully. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lincoln is too far for us to visit more often!
