Property needs lots of upgrades. Host increased my rent by upgrading the room himself without my approval. That was funny.

We had a great stay. The room was tidy and comfortable, and Ian, the host, very knowledgeable. I have never before seen such a well-organized kitchen. And it was spotless! The location of Lunheim makes the view from the kitchen window absolutely spectacular. Going down to Geiranger is easiest by car, but there are hiking options starting right at the accommodation.

Ian was a lovely host who took great interest in helping us with our cycling itinerary (and understanding the weather dependencies of such an endeavor in Norway). He was kind, ensured we were warm/clean/fed (for our early ride up Dhalsnibba) and was kind with a good sense of humour. We'd happily stay again for the views alone, but the company, comfy space, and time away from the hustle and bustle of the town below was well worth trekking up the mountainside at the end of our longest day on bikes ;)

Gorgeous location overlooking the fjord. The pictures provided on the website do not even come close to doing justice to the view which was possibly the finest I’ve ever seen from a rental. Ian, our host, was beyond helpful. He took a real interest in our trip and provided some helpful suggestions and research that resulted in our changing our itinerary to a ferry trip on the Hurtigruten. Something we never could have done without his help. The wifi was really fast. The rooms were impeccably clean and the beds comfortable.

Excellent view, especially from the kitchin's window, overlooking the Geiranger Fjord. Great host, speaking many languages, vast knowledge and good communication skills. Also helpful.

Instead of apartement with bathroom and seaview which we payed we get an apartement in garage, no seaview and bathroom was in the cellar which you get path throw yard. Crazy owner, frightened of Covid although fully vaccinated, And We both with negative PCR. Disapointment.

Ian made us feel very welcome and at home. He gave us a number of good tips for our road trip. We definitely plan on going back one day

Maestro Ian made our stay in Geirange very pleasant. We had a very enjoyable overnight stay at his house. Even BBQ is possible in the garden with great view!

Lundheim was very clean, and offered stunning views and great amenities, including the possibility to make a barbecue in the garden overlooking Geiranger Fjord. The room was very clean, the place nice and quiet - only the soothing sound of the waterfall could be heard. And, despite being quite close to the main road, we didn't feel disturbed at all.

The host was very friendly - perhaps too friendly and engaging. While he wanted to make a lot of conversation and give helpful tips, it was over the top and we could barely pull ourselves away without feeling rude. Perhaps a bit more discretion towards the guests would be appreciated. However, he was very generous in offering to use his car, etc.
