Very close location to the Centre of town

Was a little noisy outside when people came and went. Also the ac unit is a bit old and makes a bit of noise. Does help to drown out the outside noise though lol

I could smell a stale odour like cigarette when I first arrived/ was worried about having an asthma attack receptionist did not show any concern and was adamant room was clean I could not reach the microwave to put in/ lift out things safely breakfast / lounge was closed so we had nowhere to go apart from small room unpleasant

I LOVE the view from my room. Absolutely beautiful. The owners are very nice and hospitable. It was so lovely to swim in the pool. I was here the first time in November 2021, the pool was dirty. Couldn't swim in there. It was terrible. However, now there are new owners and the pool was sparkling. It is clear the new owners are far superior in their care of the property. I returned because of the view and I was very glad to find the new owners care about the property and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful stay.😊💗

The Riverbank Motel is under new management, and they are doing a terrific job. The rooms have been renovated and look very chic with the updates. The room was bright and inviting, and the bed was really comfortable. The view was magnificent. Worth a million dollars. The owners were friendly, accommodating and really helpful. The cold fridge at reception was a wonderful touch seeing that it was 36 degrees when we arrived, and a cold drink was in order. There is ample parking, and the motel is only a short stroll to downtown Bright and the shopping area.

I didn't like the fact that Booking.com were not forthright in providing our banking details to the owner, even though when you book a motel you are required to fill in all your banking details. This meant that the owner was ringing Booking.com to try and chase them up for our details. Apparently this was the situation with others that were also checking into the motel.
