Air conditioning could have been better

Very friendly staff. Everything worked out from the airport shuttle to the booked activities. Very nicely located on a hill overlooking a waterhole with lots of game activity. Breakfast and Dinner with very good food selection.

Sehr hilfsbereites freundliches Personal. Nach einem Tag Flughafen mussten wir selber ein Zimmer organisieren. Slles hat kurzfristig super geklappt. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Abendessen super.

動物の集まる水場に面している点。 料理はどれも素晴らしくレベルの高さに驚いた。 部屋を綺麗に保ってくれた。

帰りの空港までの車を宿泊前に頼んだ際に、2時間前に空港に到着するために2時間半前に出ないといけないのではないかと何度も聞いたが、2時間前に出れば十分と主張され、 ピックアップタイムを決めた。ところが、余裕を持ってチェックアウトしにいくと、車は既にピックアップしにきていた、来るのが遅いと言われた。事情を話したが、受付の女性から、「あたしに聞きに来ないあなたが悪い」、と言われて驚いたと共に非常に不快な気持ちになった。これは申し訳ないが最悪な対応だと思う。せっかくの良い滞在が最後に台無しになった。 細かな点だがバーのハウスワインの値段が日によって変わった。バーのウェイターは「値上がりした」と言っていたが、そんなことはなかった。これは些細なことだが。

All you could wish for in breakfasts, always great service and views spectacular.

We arrived early and appeared to be forgotten as our suite was not ready by check in time. Reception staff member at check in appeared inexperienced. Otherwise reception staff were super for the remainder of our 6 days.

The area and the views are exceptional. The rest is not.

- Unfriendly staff. According to our Booking.com reservation, checkout time was 11.00 am. The hotel staff insisted on 10.00 am, and only „generously allowed“ us to stay until 11.00 after we insisted on our customer rights. At 10.40 am we got a phone call that we should clear the room immediately in the rudest possible tone. I have nowhere else ever been treated like that. - Extremely slow waiting staff. Getting a simple cup of tea took twenty minutes at breakfast, and a simple omelette took three reminders and 30 minutes. And it was not even busy in the breakfast room. - Rooms not clean. Dirty bathroom in particular, gross …

What an exceptional place - from the staff to the facilities, the food and the views - we could not fault a thing. I travelled with my 14 year old Son - he was in absolute awe of everything.

The only downside is the fact that South Africans have to pay US Dollars. Had the experience been more affordable we would return on an annual basis - the rand dollar exchange just does not allow for this. It would be incredible if a regional rate could be made available.
