We had a budget double room which was spotless, very comfortable bed with nice sheets we really slept well, the hotel is right in the centre of riga just where you want to be to make the most of riga.. The hotel is right next to the mcdonald's so great to grab a coffee or a breakfast before your day sightseeing..

The receptionist gave us a room on the 5 floor as the whole floor below was filled with Indian men. They had just taken over the whole floor the kitchens and the seating relaxing area.. My partner didn't feel safe using these areas alone. The smell of the cooking just never went away...

Noisy corridors and showers a long way from my room

The location was great. Very accessible to the public transportation and just near the city centre. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. When went there, the room was not ready yet and ask to wait for 5 mins but when she came back she said the room doesn't smell goo because of the food the previous occupants bought, so she offered us other room upstairs which much better than our previous room. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness.

I stayed in two different hostels during my trip. This one is super good compare to the others. For similar price, I highly recommend this hotel. It's huge differences for everything.The shower room has big space and good facilities. They even have hair dryer. All the area is bright, kitchen is clean, they provide water machines and they have huge dining room and Sofa for customers to relax. They have professional cleaner to do the job. Customers have their own room card so it's safe. Staff are kind and helpful. I ordered breakfast and it beyond my expectation. (Even it's the first time for them that Customer has such inquiry.)

location and staff i like the most

the staff is good, but the rooms are not very clean, the garbage was not taken out every day. Beds creak, little space.

Fantastic location, right opposite the park, close to the freedom monument, and a short stroll to Old Town. Staff were also great and very responsive, even when I had a late check in. Warm and good heating in the cold winter.

Could do with better hygiene - the hallways were dusty and there was leftover trash in my room. The showers also require repeated finger presses so that they don't turn off, probably a way for the hostel to save on costs.

The location of the hostel was excellent, the late check in was very useful and overall the process of arriving was smooth.

The room I was placed in wasn’t the same room I’d booked, however as I was staying for one night this wasn’t a problem to me.

Didnt like stains on the mattress, even me roomates had them as well. In december, there was no hot water on the 4 floor, had to use showers on a different floor and wait in the que. During night was really cold.

the location is perfect, the property is clean and cozy.

guys, please provide hot water. Maybe for summer it would be ok, but after long distance walking tour in winter the hot water is necessary!
