Les dortoirs (de 6 et de 2) sont un peu humide. Les rideaux des lits laissent passer la lumière pour toute la chambre, pas de prise individuelle au niveau des lits. Je ne recommande pas le tour à cheval proposé par l'auberge.

Was a cool looking building, very old-style architecture with heavy wooden doors & nice views.

The whole hostel smelled like a toilet. The 4 of us in our room didn’t sleep all night because of the sewage smell and the beds were really old and super creaky/loud.

I loved this hostel since the moment I arrived! Surrounded by little jungle, beautiful and spacious inside, friendly reception, 2 big dogs, very easy to socialise with other backpackers, location is good and close to the central square. The vibe, the place, everything was just great!

Some mattresses are hard, some are very soft. I’ve got the soft one and I felt like drowning in my bed 😅 breakfast seemed a bit small to me

Super Boutique Hostel

De accommodatie is er schoon! Het uitzicht is prachtig maar bovenal in het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Tijdens een hike heb ik een blessure opgelopen waardoor ik niet kon lopen. De eigenaresse van het hostel was erg betrokken en dacht erg mee. Receptie personeel was ook ontzettend lief, een van de medewerkers ging zelfs mee naar de hospital om te vertalen. Daarnaast is hangt er een fijne vibe en is het ontbijt lekker en niet duur. Ik zou iedereen dit verblijf aanraden!

Superbequeme Betten (richtige Decken!), das Bett wird jeden Tag gemacht, es ist sauber und die Zimmer sind groß. Es gibt individuelle Beleuchtung am Bett und Vorhänge für Privatsphäre. Sehr nettes Personal. Gute Atmosphäre.

Die Küche ist nicht sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ein wenig ab vom Schuss aber in Salento ist in Prinzip alles nah beieinander.

Wunderschönes Hostel am Rand von Salento. Es bietet eine tolle Common Area, viele Balkone, tolle Aussicht und eine Hammock-Area. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Mein Private-Room war groß, sauber und hatte einen traumhaften Blick über die Gegend.

Ein bisschen hellhörig - Oropax zum Schlafen einpacken.

Die Unterkunft hat eine hervorragende Aussicht und tolles Frühstück.

Die erste Nacht war es extrem laut und hell in unserem Zimmer von vorbeilaufenden Gästen. In der zweiten Nacht haben wir die Fenster mit Decken zugehängt und das Personal gebeten jedem der an der Rezeption vorbeiläuft zu sagen, dass sie leise sein sollen. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert 🤩 Im Bad ist das Lüftungssystem kaputt und deshalb geht die ganze Feichtigkeit in die Wände. Es stinkt daher sehr nach Schimmel und Feichtigkeit.

Las zonas comunes, la vista, los árboles, el jardín y los perros.

Haberme quedado en cuarto compartido y que extranjeros tuvieran sexo delante mío, las cortinas de la cama aíslan las visibilidad pero no los sonidos, lo que fue una situación muy incomoda.

Instalaciones limpias, baños amplios, lugar acogedor. Los San bernardos que hay son demasiado lindos. El personal súper amable. La terraza tiene una vista súper bonita.

Está un poquito lejos de la plaza, pero no demasiado, caminado a 10 min se llega. Realmente Salento es pequeño y casi todo es cerca.

Nice views

A bit far from the center

Really great views from all around the hostel. We stayed in a dorm for 2 nights that had curtains going the whole way around the beds - even the top bunks for privacy. Then we stayed in a private room which was absolutely stunning with views out to the mountains. There was a volunteer who took people out for dinner and Tejo most nights which was a great way to meet people. The dogs were super cute there too!

The kitchen was small and smelt weird but we just ate out.

Not the hostel’s fault but there was a power cut for 18 hours due to high winds.

It is impossible to sleep here because of the noise coming from the street. There are several bars right next to the hotel playing music super loud until 1:00 a.m. The people at the hostel are friendly and nice. However, it is definitely not a place to rest. It was louder than a party hostels.

rooms were not ventilated well so became very smelly especially with people’s damp clothes and shoes from hiking. could do with either a drying room for boots and coats or air fresheners and circulation in the rooms

Really great hostel. Friendly staff who provide lots of useful information. Wonderful views. Great facilities - all kept very clean. Would highly recommend.

wifi wasn’t great in the dorms

Simply excellent! 5 nights of polite staff, good vibes, exceptionally clean surroundings- they're running hotel standards with the round the clock cleaning, great customer service and attention to detail. I even saw the night security guard at 2am emptying bins and passing the brush! The location is stunning and peaceful with amazing views and gardens with birds flying in. It's so spacious so there's always a space to have some alone time if you want. It's not a party hostel but they organise activities and the setting means it's super easy to meet other travellers. The decor is devine so you're happy to relax and hot, clean showers in abundance! Bathrooms are in dorms and passageways outside of the rooms. You never need to queue! Soap and hand towels in all outside toilets and shared bathrooms. Shared kitchen (didn't use), free tea and coffee all day, good breakfast which has an efficient booking service so you're not waiting for long. The staff went above and beyond and even though fully booked, they put me in the emergency room as I didn't want to leave! Perfect place to stay, do tours and relax, 5 minutes to the main square. I loved it and you will too!

Everyone can improve so ... Next steps- hand towels/ paper towels in dorm bathrooms to dry hands. More hooks in dorms to hang towels. Internet- not the greatest away from reception area, but that's common in Salento I felt. Bin next to coffee area needs a more regular clean (since everything else got it) as there's always tea/ coffee stains.
