I generally love nature,so just being able to immerse myself in it so close to the city was an absolutely amazing experience!

I wouldn’t say it was a dislike, but it is a pity that the water levels were so low due to the lack of rain so we couldn’t get the full Waterside Cottage experience.

The serenity of the place and cleanliness. It was also quite clean. The security is amazing.

Would have preferred to have more breakfast options besides just cereal. Some eggs and bacon to cook for ourselves for instance.

We stayed in the Kingfisher Villa and it was stylish and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the bread that was provided for breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also perfect. We regretted that it was winter and we couldn't try out the plunge pool. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much that we stayed at Waterside Cottages again on our return trip in Nguni Cottage and enjoyed it as much as the Kingfisher Villa.

There was nothing we didn't like. We have only given our hosts a good instead of an excellent because we didn't meet them but Cilla was very helpful and friendly when I contacted her.

The unit was beautifully styled. The kitchen and bathroom were very up to date. There was a lovely view. It was all very clean. We would have loved to stay longer and will certainly visit again if in the area.

We noticed that the fridge door was scrapping on the floor when opened. It wasn't a problem for us but it might be a problem for our hosts.

Everything about the Villa is exceptional. Location, the property is so clean and beautiful inside..minimal finishings that look stunning and give off a cosy feeling. The views and nature surroundings are absolutely breathtaking!

The area on its own, its a perfect spot for relaxation an peaceful. The sounds of the birds and water makes it even better Garden is excellent for children to have a lil play around

At the picnic spot, i think just on the water edges if you could make a standing spot, where your visitors can stand and take pictures of water and the birds. that will make it a great fill..

I recently had the pleasure of being one of the first people to stay at the new Acacia Villa at Waterside Cottages, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. First and foremost, the location of the property was perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Despite its proximity to the city, we felt like we were miles away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature and stunning views. The interior design of the villa was outstanding, and every detail was carefully thought out to ensure functionality and meet all our needs. The fully equipped kitchen was out of this world, making it easy and enjoyable to cook meals during our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were also well thought out, with the shower opening into the pool, adding to the overall luxurious experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the plunge pool, which was the perfect spot for a quick dip to cool off during the hot afternoons. We also loved the amazing barbecue area, which was just by the pool, allowing us to cook delicious meals while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Overall, I cannot recommend Waterside Cottages and Acacia Villa enough. The level of service provided by the staff was exceptional, and we felt so welcomed and taken care of throughout our entire stay. If you are looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway, this is the perfect spot for you. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Everything about this property and the host are fantastic! Cilla really put alot of thought into everything to make her guests feel comfortable! This is my 3rd stay at the property and will continue to visit. So tranquil and special.

there are wasps which have built huge nests on the patio. they are hazardous and must be relocated if not destroyed
