Es una bonita opción en Galle sin necesidad de recurrir a mayores lujos. El desayuno está bien y durante nuestra estancia el lugar estaba tranquilo.

El staff es muy amable y servicial pero habla poco inglés aunque lamentablemente es común en Sri Lanka.

Our 3 day stay at the 5th was amazing. It started with a nice fresh made fruit juice. The 3 guys (Anil, Samir, Samar) who run the daily business assured, that we felt comfortable at any time. they were very friendly and supportive with any request we had. They even made sure, that we could keep our room until 5pm on our last day (no extra charge). The room and bathroom were very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was very tasty, we could choose between SriLankan or Western breakfast and it was freshly made every day. over all we can highly recommend this place!!!

No trash bins in the room. As normal in Sri Lanka the walls are pretty thin.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained and feels like you’re in a luxurious house. The team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my partner had a lovely birthday. Breakfast was incredible, you can never go wrong with Sri Lankan breakfast (don’t even bother asking for western their home cooking is gorgeous!) It was very central but quiet in the night to sleep peacefully. The king suite was so gorgeous I want to recreate the bathroom in my home! We felt so spoilt thank you so much.

Nothing we didn’t like

We loved our stay- an old charm building, great location and excellent breakfast. There was a patio to relax outside the room. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful.

The place is absolutely beautiful. All the photos that you can see, thy are similar to reality. The welcoming very friendly also. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. Air conditioner works perfectly. The shower doesn’t work correctly, because sometimes the water was hot and sometimes was cold. The breakfast amazing. Fruit, coffe and everything you can imagine. But the best was the staff, SAMAN, SAMEERA and ALIL. These three were always smiling and paying attention to us. THANK YOU. Abrazos desde Canarias - España.

We stay only one night, but we loved it. In June is off season in Galle but staff was still amazing and prepared us huge breakfast. Galle Fort is very calm and nice area.

Nothing, avoid at all cost !

I spent two nights there, I was the only guest sleeping there with the man who does the check-in and breakfast. First night, nothing to report. Second night, I wake up at 5am because I feel something on my shoulder : when I open my eyes, I discover that I am not alone in my bed ! The man who welcomed me in the place is lying next to me, naked, and tries to wake me up !!! I literally jump out of bed, scream, shout at him to get out : he ends up leaving after five minutes of incoherent english. I add that my door was locked from the inside as always, and that I fell asleep with all my things in the place he occupied (computer, phone, book). So that means that he forced the door open with his own key, got into the net around the bed, moved all my stuff to lie down next to me while I was sleeping : how sick do you have to be to do that ?!!! This is extremely serious sexual harassment that could have ended very badly for me. I packed my bags immediately and left the hotel, looking for a safe place to regroup and plan the rest of my trip. I didn't run into the man again so I didn't pay the bill, but thought I would be charged via Booking. I went to a yoga center not far away, and about an hour later, the man shows up there as if nothing had happened ! Asking me to pay the hotel bill, and telling everyone in the area that I left "his" hotel (pretending to be the owner) without paying him, making me look like a thief. As there was no way I was going anywhere with him, he ended up calling his manager to whom I told the whole story, and he found a solution to make me pay by card without me needing to go back to the hotel where I would have never set foot anyway, and the story ended there ! I'm pretty sure this man will never see the consequences of his actions. I am extremely shocked. Avoid at all cost if you are a woman, and you travel alone : you are not safe !!!

The location was perfect for us, within easy reach of everything. We were the only guests staying so we were encouraged to use the house "as our own" which we were happy to do. It felt like a private house with a chef for breakfast:) The housekeeper was very willing to make us drinks whenever we wanted and went to a great deal of trouble to cook us a delicious breakfast from scratch, both Sri Lankan and Western style. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you

The only thing that marred our stay were the mosquitos. Having spent 3 weeks touring the country and not having any problems were were quite perplexed why they were such a problem here. The room was perfect and mosquito free and having a netted bed was wonderful. However the (indoor) breakfast and seating areas were constantly under attack and I ate covered from head to toe, with a wrap around my ankles and mozzie spray!! The housekeeper was aware and was getting someone in to deal with the problem, so hopefully that's a thing of the past now.
