Leva's house was a great example of how much nicer it is to stay at private hosts' places than in soulless chain hotel. I will return.

Beautiful renovated very spacious house in a very nice and quiet area. Spacious with garden and porch ( ground floor) kitchen with full amenities, sugar, salt etc and a nespresso machine with welcome cups. Big screen smart TV very fast and stable internet Close to city center, taxi ride with BOLT around 4-5 euro Very friendly host

there are 2 separate bathrooms/showers/ toilets but both in the same bedroom.. In the entrance hall there is a third toilet

Really liked this place. Plenty of space for a family. Morden bathroom and kitchen. Grocery shops just round the corner. We had a tea,coffe,salt and pasta in the kitchen.

The location and property themselves are superb. We really enjoyed the space and literally everything about the property. It is well maintained and everything needed (plates, glasses, cutlery etc.) is available. The hostess was very helpful and easily accessible. The communication was great.

+ the apartment is really big. We were a family of 4 and enough of space for everyone + we could check in any time, no need to wait for host. Checking out was also super easy + we liked the location because there are several shops, restaurants, quite big children playground nearby. There is also public transportation stop like 7 min walk. + nicely renovated bathrooms and it had both shower & bathtube, which was much appreciated by our kids. Note that to get to BOTH bathrooms you need to walk through one of the bedrooms. Was not a problem for us though, but it's good to know. There is additional toilet which you can enter independently. + thanks for the folder with all tips and recommendations from host, it was very helpful.

- when we arrived to the apartment, it was very cold. In the bathroom the device was showing 16 degrees... and we had to bath both our kids (one baby of 6 months). I wrote directly the host and we were recommended to keep all doors between the rooms open and it should get warm within 30 min, which we did, but it didn't help. When on the next day I complained that it's still very cold in the apartment, we received a small heater, which was very helpful, but not really enough for 110 sqm big apartement. The host mentioned that it should be warm because the Termostat in the living room was showing 20.5 degrees, but it was max 18 degrees in the bedrooms, kitchen, living room. I am not sure where was the problem and I do understand that it's a wooden house and that outside it was -17 degrees at the time of our stay. However, in Latvia in winter every year these kind of temperatures happen and it's not abnormal. In my opinion if heating system of the house is not managing then the additional heaters for each room have to be provided. We ended up to have constantly small heater on and moving it from one room to another. It did help to have warmer apartment, but still I would not call it comfort level. Overall we liked the apartment and had good stay, but I would not book the place for winter again.
