Stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Sutton Scotney North. Bathroom and windows were moldy, there was blood on the bed runner, the tv didn't get any good channel, the moquette was dirty, there were not enough towels for 2 guests. No fridge, no water, no electric plug next to the bed nor bed light, the kettle was dirty, nobody at the reception to complain to all morning. Couldn't even buy water or ask for an extra towel. The mattress was incredibly hard and had was lumpy, laying at the sides feels like falling down. I Paid 150£ for two night, I highly regret booking it.

Receptionist was friendly and well-meaning.

Hotel smelled of damp. Only facilities without significant car journey was MacDonalds (have to go 3-4 miles south to get back to north services, so you're going to drive >6-8 miles to go anywhere else for a meal.) I'd have to be desperate to stop there again, especially at current inflated prices. Probably ought to be nearer £30 a night, not £69.

Staff were friendly.

There was a strong smell of damp and mould in the air. When I woke in the morning I could taste it in my mouth as if I had been breathing it in all night. I tried to describe the smell to my partner when I got home. Later in the evening when I unpacked my pyjamas they smelled really strong of the same smell! I couldn't believe how bad it must have been to make my clothes smell that bad! It can't have done my lungs any good.

The staff were very welcoming. Close to a major road so it was easy to get to Salisbury and other ancient/historic sites.

I stayed for three nights. When I booked, I didn’t realise the hotel was at a service centre with a limited food choice. Had to drive out each night for dinner.

The location next to the A34 North bound is excellent for an overnight stay, and not too noisy. The Receptionist was particularly helpful as I arrived late from the evening Portsmouth ferry arrival, and she provided excellent directions. The room was comfortable, although basic but adequate for an overnight stay. The coffee/tea in the bedroom was very welcome.

The duvet was quite small for a double bed.

Room was spacious. We had two large dogs and plenty of room. A very large grass walking area for them at side of property. A lovely bathroom with a bath. Arrived late and had to have a McDonalds from the services but as travelling it was ok. Lady at checking couldn’t have been more helpful.

Pillows were not comfortable.

The price was reasonable and location was good.
