Beautiful location next to a great and very private beach. Lovely pool, great restaurant, comfortable room.

The power and water went out several times during my short stay. The staff did their best to get back up and running quickly.

The staff was beyond accommodating and did everything they could to help my parents feel comfortable and taken care of. Their breakfasts were delicious! The rooms were comfortable and well taken care of. The views are incredible. The pool was clean and refreshing!

There are about 10 stairs with no handrail that one needs to climb to reach the hotel. This should be taken into consideration if someone has limited mobility.

Everything about this hotel is perfect! The rooms are very large, great views and incredibly comfortable bed. The common areas (dining areas, pool, hammocks, gardens and private beach) are stunning, with plenty of places for all guests to sit and enjoy peacefully. You can surf (and hire surfboards) at the beach directly outside the hotel (1 min walk from the rooms). The food is of an incredibly high standard whilst also affordable (along with the drinks). The staff are truly fantastic - incredibly kind, attentive and friendly. They even set us up for a private romantic candle-lit dinner in the pool cabana one evening - a once in a lifetime experience! You could easily spend a week enjoying this hotel. We can wait to come back!

The location is amazing! beautiful views, secluded beach, and the facilities of the hotel were amazing. we loved the food, the drinks and all of the amenities. The staff was incredible, extremely helpful, nice and always will to assist in anything we needed.

As other reviewers have stated, the location is spectacular. Heaven on earth. Our room was in the separate bungalow away from the main building. Very quiet, and the beach right outside our door. Loved listening to the pounding surf at night. The included breakfast, made to order, was great. Aside from the location, what makes this hotel special is the staff. All the restaurant servers (Laura, Angela, Lisette) were so nice, and the hotel staff was efficient and helpful in arranging transportation. I recommend drinks at the nearby Sierra Bar to watch sunset over the river, and taking the short walk to nearby Los Angeles beach, endless expanse of white sand and no people or buildings in sight. I loved Senda Casa Tayrona, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The other hotels in this area looked nice as well, but Casa Tayrona is the only one right on the beach, and for me that's the ultimate holiday experience.

We arrived here for a 2 night stay and from the beginning the customer service we received was excellent and Nidian was very welcoming. The hotel is like a huge converted villa with only a few guest rooms looking over the beach and a lovely swimming pool area. This is a great place to just go and relax for a few days with great customer service. Unfortunately, I was unwell during those 2 days (I had been feeling unwell previously) so Nidian contacted a doctor who prescribed some meds for me which greatly assisted in my recovery. I only ate once at the restaurant as I was not feeling great but the food I did have was good. We loved listening to the sound of the waves from our room as we fell asleep and again as we awoke. If we come back to Colombia we would absolutely stay here again.

Our room was just next to the kitchen/restaurant which was quite noisy in the evening. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that could have also been due to the fact that I had to lie in it for 24 hours as I was unwell.

Our best stay in Colombia! The room offered all the comfort you need. Excellent food and the views are amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is a 5-min drive away from Tayrona national park.

The majority of the staff doesn’t speak English, but that wasn’t really a problem for us. We communicated through Google translate.

Location was lovely on the beach! The food was also fantastic! Make sure you walk round to the viewing platform and see the Crocodiles in the river.

Our receptionist could have been more friendly, not very helpful with Tayrona National Park guidance etc (get there early for opening, book a taxi through reception, bring cash - although you can pay by card for entrance tickets, you need cash for insurance, water etc). The room is more basic than the photos, but a lovely view out to the sea.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. I am a firm believer that the staff can make or break a hotel and the staff here confidently knows what they’re doing- everyone from the reception to the kitchen staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. A smaller hotel so plenty of attention on the guests. Great rooms at an affordable price- and did I mention views!? Stay here if you’re in Santa Marta. We stayed at three places in the area and this was our favorite.

this was our favourite hotel in Colombia. staff were so friendly and helpful (even packing sandwiches for our day trip to Tayrona) and food is absolutely delicious (and surprisingly affordable) pool / beach area so clean and comfortable would highly recommend staying here!

Deluxe Room/Hab 2. It is wonderful, relaxing, the view, food, and hotel all outstanding. Walking 3 minutes to Los Angeles beach through the neighboring farm land.

No-see-ums or sand fleas are everywhere, bring no-see-um repellant, and after bite.

The view was amazing. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing. Very clean & beautiful. Make sure you go over to the next property where the ocean & river meet. What an amazing place!

Room #3 early AM when clear, you can see the beautiful peaks of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The only room you can see it from. Special thanks to Dianis Narvaez who always served with a smile and great attitude. Also, my compliments to chef Alexandra and Edilberto for preparing delicious meals. Angie Oliveros a very nice server as well. Overall customer service was superb. Andres at the front desk, polite and well spoken in both Spanish and English. I would and probably will go back there.
