Our stay at Villa Playa was exceptional. The staff were incredible and the chefs cooked such delicious food. Villa Playa is a little oasis walking distance to a private beach. Would highly recommend here for a stay.

Nothing everything was exceptional

A little paradise ! Beautiful room, surrounded by nature with stunning views on the river and the beach. My partner kept asking why we needed to leave and continue our trip somewhere else. He said we should have booked a whole week here :) we had a chocolate massage which was amazing and the food of the restaurant was great! Very close by to the park Tayrona which is also a big plus.

This place was just PERFECT for our 2 nights. The location is really close to Tayrona park so if you plan to visit you are in the good sport. The veiw from the hotel is amazing and the food is just incredibly good. Our room was the suite next to the pool with the best view you can have. Inside the same community you can walk around, discover other hotels and a beach bar under a cliff that you can climb to discover another stunning view. Fully recommended.

Favourite hotel of our trip, and the best nights sleep! Staff were so lovely, food was delicious and the pool area was lovely.

It was pretty much perfect! Slightly more powerful AC or a fan in the room would have been good as we didn't want to leave it on all day but took a long time to cool down. Perhaps another sun umbrella around the pool would also be good as only the sofa area was shaded.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Superb views and great rooms and beautiful hotel facilities. We ate there each evening and the food was superb - really felt like being in a beautiful large private home. Staff were all brilliant with a special mention for Samantha who was so incredibly helpful and lovely. Easy walk to the gorgeous beach and local bar to watch the sun go down. We had 2 x Deluxe Rooms next to each other with a private balcony / terrace area and an amazing beautiful awesome view. Listened to the waves rolling in and watching the sun rise and set from our terrace area - the best of memories!

just don’t go for Room 1, there was constant noise, from taxi’s and motors bringing guests, from the kitchen, from staff chatting outside. but outside the room all is very peaceful

It was the perfect way to end my stay in Colombia. The food and staff were exceptional. The rooms were large. There was an someone who spoke english as you arrived and help throughout your stay .

There are only 6 lounge chairs for 6 rooms. There should be a set for each room.

I CANNOT reccomend this hotel enough. The chefs are not just super talented but incredibly friendly too, the view is out of this world, the rooms are spacious and they have a private beach which will forever be the most magical place I have ever watched a sunset. This place was the true highlight for our trip to Colombia!

We liked everything about this hotel. First and foremost, the staff are extremely kind and friendly and make you feel right at home. The food was amazing; both breakfast and dinner. The setting is incredible and you will be tempted to just sit by the pool and enjoy the view. The rooms were large and spotless with lots of large windows made of wooden blinds.

Magnificent surroundings, elegant, open bamboo construction, large, uncomplicated indoor/outdoor spaces that flow beautifully. Located a 4 minute bus ride away from Tayrona park entrance.

An updated list of activities would be nice for guests to discover the local points of interest - there are many!

This place blew me away! The most breathtaking views to the lake and the ocean, I could have stared at it for days from the pool whilst watching the dragonflies fly around me. It's truly a magical placed to stay. The staff are super friendly. Samantha was so helpful and gave us a tour of the surrounding area, showing us the routes to take to the beach and the tiki bar where you can watch the most incredible sunsets over the mountains. The rooms were lovely and big. The sounds of the wildlife was the perfect sound track for a morning yoga session on the terrace. Would highly recommend having a massage whilst you are staying here. You won't leave disappointed.

An absolutely gorgeous villa, feels very exclusive as I think only about 6 rooms. The pool is beautiful and our room felt so luxurious, it was such a treat! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. There were excellent vegetarian options which is rare! Loved our stay!

lovely spot to relax and unwind by the river and with the constant sound of the sea waves as a background. cleaned and safe, a wonderful view over the river. walking distance from long walking isolated beach. a wonderful experience. un encanto.

we stayed one day more then initially planned. only thing is the food and flavors that can be perceived a bit repetitive after couple of days. minor thing!

villa playa is absolutely spectacular. The staff is amazing and the food exceptionally delicious. they packed us lunch for our day trip to Tayrona. the swimming pool was wonderful and just a little walk to a lovely beach side bar!
