Honestly Agung made my stay the best and memorial! I cannot express how much he helped me feel taken care of and comfortable. My flight was delayed I had a long trip, and when I arrived I panicked because my phone was going to die, he drove me to nearest store to get me a charger. Gave me so much helpful guidance on what to do, and tips. Took me to a great money exchange. Saw that I had a tan and cut up fresh aloe Vera to put on my skin so it wouldn’t hurt

I stayed in room 5, everything was great, it would be nice to have a mosquito net, that’s all :)

There were a group of kids partying there. It’s a hotel not a hostel. The “butler” there acts like he wants to help you. But what’s he really trying to do is get you to buy services from him like breakfast, taxi, and tourism packages. It’s a bit overbearing. I get he’s trying to help but it felt scummy to me. But I guess this isn’t something new to Bali.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room with private kitchen was very spacious. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Quiet location and lovely to have the pool right outside the room with lovely leafy plants.

Good air conditioning and excellent personal. Nice location and close to the beach. Nice size of the pool. Overall a nice and quiet stay at this villa.

The bathroom needed some renovations and there was a crab crawling inside. The garden could need som tending.

Agung, the host, was really nice. very helpful all the time! the pool is nice and quiet. the room was big and the shower had good pressure. the beach is walkable distance.

you need a scooter to go to restaurants/bars. bathroom was old and needed reparation (shower leaking leaving the floor flooded). our room had no window to the outside, facing the common area with just glass doors so it could get noisy. the bed chairs in the pool Were old and broke so it was hard to stay in them.

Would highly recommend not to stay at this villa, somedays the housekeeper wouldn't even come to clean my bed. There was also a squirrel which was living in the roof of my room and it's droppings would fall onto to the bed. The bathroom to my room was also all outdoors so when it rained you were also in the middle of the rain.

Wash is a bit rundown AC wasn't super cold, they were responsive to fill the coolant quick, but still wasn't very cold

We loved the villa, it was in a great location with lots of restaurants and the beach nearby. Agung was incredibly helpful and we would happily come back and stay again!

Nothing, all was great

The location is really convenient and quiet. Everything was well maintained, clean and the host was very friendly! Agung did everything that you could expect to make it us pleasant as possible. The swimming pool is more than big enough for the size of the villa and you are really near to the beach (<5 minutes) and popular restaurants (<15 minutes).

We booked Villa Elang mainly for relaxing after three consecutive trips to Borobodur, Bromo and Ijen. We were really looking forward to a hot bath after arriving. We did not have any warm water for more than a day. After it got ‘fixed’ you could fill the bath for 20% before the water turned cold again. Furthermore, the bath was leaking (a bit) which caused our bathroom to be flooded. Luckily Agung pro-actively cleaned it. We received a small compensation for the above, but would be good to get this fixed, given that we would have preferred to just be able to have warm water.

beautiful Garden and Pool, the rooms are clean and spacious. the area is Save and just a 5 min Walk to the Beach. the staff, especially Agung, was super friendly and helped us a lot with planning trips and Local stuff. Thank you for This amazing Time :) Nora & Tony

The owner was very nice.

I hate giving bad reviews but this was terrible. It was so run down and dirty. Bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. Toilet was dirty, shower was dirty. Sheets had stains on them. The villa itself is pretty run down but I think they know there's a lot of work to do there. Just doing a proper clean of the bathroom and shared kitchen and getting new sheets/getting rid of stains would be a really good start.

After the first shower the bathroom gets completely flooded and doesn’t dry, you’ll end up with wet feet every time you enter the bathroom. The rooms at the ground floor have a huge window facing the garden or the living room, you won’t be able to enjoy the natural light if you want some privacy Swimming pool not appealing as the water did not look very clean

The location was in a very calm area but close enough to get to the main area of Canggu where all the cafes and restaurants are really quick. Also the location is just a 5 min drive away from the beach. The villa was amazing in its layout. We loved the shared kitchen and common area as well as the pool. Our room was spacious and just the perfect size. Our host Agung was very kind and we felt very welcomed and at home.

In out bathroom there was no shower curtain so when showering the water would flood the entire bathroom. Would be great to get that fixed for the next guests staying.

Arseny is a nice host who shared amazing food recommendations with me and can help with transport. The property is in a quiet street just minutes away from the beach. Friendly cats and dogs are roaming the property. Free water is available in the kitchen.

Unfortunately the property has not been maintained during the pandemic (this goes for a lot of guesthouses in Bali and is not just a case for this one). The common areas like pool or kitchen were run down and the room itself was pretty dirty. It's Bali and I'm a pretty basic backpacker, so I definitely expected some insects or mold because of the humidity but the bathroom faucets were full of limescale and the tiled walls covered in mold that could easily be wiped away. The mosquito net and sheets had holes and my comforter was covered in stains (Arseny quickly changed those though when I told him). During the weekend there were parties next door which made sleeping impossible. If you don't plan to rent a scooter or are travelling with children or mobility handicapped people, this might not be the right place for you as you need to go by the beach or drive a big detour to get to the center. The pictures don't reflect the current state of the Villa, though, as it is the case for many Balinese properties, they might have just reopened and aren't ready yet to welcome back travelers. If the place was properly cleaned and renovated, I'd come again though!
