The alpacas made the stay really fun and unique. The indoor swimming pool and sauna was very relaxing and as if it was our own private facilities. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. They made a big effort to make us feel comfortable and for our stay to be special. :) I would definitely recommend the hotel and the area, which is many nature trails and towns close by to explore.

For me the breakfast was a bit early, and served until 930. But maybe this I’d because I like to sleep in when on holiday. :)

Tasteful decor and artistic touches. Beautiful views from windows. Large spacious room with two armchairs and large wide bed. Excellent large bathroom with walk in shower. Lovely dining room with excellent choices for breakfast. Breakfast served by an efficient and friendly cook and housekeeper. Peaceful and beautiful location. Everything of the highest standard.

No large bath towels. No satellite TV stations for English speaking guests.

Lovely & quiet area, as you enter the drive, you pass the Alpacas, and the very nice B & B to your left, we stayed in the room with the balcony, everything is very well presented, we didn't use the pool or sauna, as we just needed to find a restaurant, the owner recommended Pelle's closeby in Deurningen, & it was fantastic (164 beers) & the most flavoursome food I've had in a long time, back to Erve Grootenhuys.you can help yourself to free tea & coffee, and there is also snacks & cold drinks available at a very reasonable price, just write down what you have, & pay before you leave. The room was brilliant, 2 arm chairs, desk & chair, flat screen tv, 2 very comfortable beds & a really nice bathroom with walk in shower, automatic lighting too.. great for the late night visits .. a very nice stay.. thank you.

We are a returning guest and we love everything here. the location, the rooms, the small scale, the friendly welcome by the owner, the alpaca's, the breakfast etc.

nothing. the only reason we do not always stay here 4 or 5 times a year is that it is usually booked up or a tad above budget.

Everything in this place was perfect and the hosts were vary kind. Highly recommend

I arrived with an electric car and though the place has no chargers the owner rolled out a 220 cable so I could charge anyway, for the nominal electricity price. The desk (I worked behind) was put in front of a nice round window overlooking a nice country side.

It is very clean everywhere. Being small scale adds to the charm... We enjoyed the exclusive use of the pool and sauna. Breakfast was very good - high quality local products. Drinks are available all day, very convenient. Definitely recommended!

Great location! Close to the highway, it's easy to make this your base to visit Twente. There's a common area with microwave and fridge so you can bring and have meals. The swimming pool and sauna work with time slots, so it feels like a private pool :) In the morning you can use the swimming pool only, in slots of 30~45 min, and in the afternoon you can use the pool and sauna in slots of 1:30h. If there are no other guests, you can book more slots.

The beds are not very comfortable, and the window blinds don't filter a lot of light off, so you should bring a night mask if you are too photosensitive.

I really liked how calm the area was and the cleanliness of not only the room but also the pool and the communal area. The hostess was extremely kind and friendly and made a delicious breakfast everyday. It was a real treat, even during COVID-19!

Owners are really nice. The locations cannot be better, amazing views, relaxing place.
