The calmness and the view

Breakfast arrived cold and and not tasty. Dinner at restaurant overpriced and food was not so good and even cold.

An unforgettable experience - 100% worth the money and one of those rare cases where the actual thing is as good as the pictures. The "tent" is more like a hotel room, with a TV, air con, and the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in. You get to wake up to a view of the rainforest and your own hot tub, the outdoor shower is amazing, and they bring you a la carte breakfast every morning! We also loved little touches like the mini bar being included, and the present you get when you leave. 10/10 service, this was the highlight of our honeymoon.

The view was amazing and the tent and beds super comfortable. Great kitchen with bbq. Hot tub facing the view was awesome. Dinner at San Lucas Treetop dining was phenomenal!

Wow wow wow! We stayed in Inga tent and it was just incredible. Views were amazing and facilities were just as shown in pictures (hot tub was especially good!) All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Douglas! We'd also recommend the Santamaria night tour while there also using the Uber eat style app to get food delivered to your pod. Great stay at Chira to see the New Year in!

The experience was phenomenal! restaurant unbelievable! I was a little hesitant to dine without knowing what I was going to eat but it was an experience that will last a life time. I highly recommend staying at the Glamping facility and dining here!!!

Very beautiful and calm there. The food was amazing and an amazing experience, would highly recommend experiencing the restaurant. Only stayed for 1 night but wish I had been able to stay some more.

The tent was truly luxurious, much more than most hotel rooms, as was the partially glassed delightfully hot shower of the Pacific Tent. The outside treehouse view was very nice. The restaurant experience was wonderful.

The incoming staff was not welcoming, though the checkout staff was. The experience is overpriced and while perhaps not "glamping", available in treehouse bungalows elsewhere in Monteverde. The polyethylene windows of the tent are not as easy to see through as glass. You have to zip and unzip to go to a very fancy bathroom and shower, but then the tent floor is slick and dangerous if it is raining (which tends to happen in a cloud forest town). The entire facility did not seem to worry about being eco-friendly.

- View was amazing - The free snacks and food (like eggs, beer, croissants) were restocked - They had a little welcome gift of a trail mix, magnet, and coffee - Robes and slippers were provided to relax in - Tents come equipped with air conditioning and a portable heater if needed - BBQ and full kitchen with microwave allows you to cook your own food - TV with Netflix and some board games are provided for entertainment - The outdoor shower is an incredible experience (and there’s an indoor shower as well)

The experience.

Was looking forward to dining at the onsite restaurant which I had heard a lot about. Was extremely disappointed that there was no availability (at a reasonable time) all 3 days. Chira guests should be accommodated or at least clearly informed in advance to reserve before arriving.

Chira glamping is one of the best hotel experiences in our life, I am so glad that we booked it, shame that we only had one day to stay here. If we return to Costa Rica, we will surely book this hotel for a longer stay. The tents have the million dollar view indeed. Watching the magnificent sunset above the Pacific ocean from the terrace jacuzzi is so romantic, a lifetime memory. The San Lucas treetop restaurant of the hotel is also a must. Delicious food served with very creative ideas, the whole story behind, the special care for guests and personal touch are all exceptional. Then the night comes and one can feel the presence of the cloud forest while in bed, waking up to the sound of the jungle and just admire the setting. Breakfast is served in your room, so one have full privacy. The kitchen cabinet is full of delicacies as fruits, sweets, water and beer if you carve for some besides the seven course dinner and full breakfast. And on the top of it there is even a small present left for guests in the room (I'm drinking that coffee at home right now, and longing for Costa Rica and Chira). Thank you very much for all of you for the experience!

Chira glamping was the most wonderful place to stay in Monteverde. The tent was perfect, very spacious for us, good sized bed and incredible views (you could see the sea!). The outside area had lots of seating, a well equipped kitchen with a filled fridge and fresh snacks each day. Location was also perfect, up a very steep hill which we slightly struggled with in our sedan, but all paved and fine once up there 😅. A very short walk from St Elena (10mins) slightly more up hill (20ish). Staff were amazingly helpful and offered good tours, we did the 100% aventura zip line which was so good. Highly recommend the San Lucas dining experience for a special evening, our waitress named Lady was exceptional.

We stayed in the pacific tent, and there was one tree which banged slightly on the side of the platform at night. When windy the trees are very loud, but that’s what you expect given the location! Ear plugs were provided if needed.

service was excellent, the people were for you. The view is amazing.

there was pretty cool at the morning. You receive your delicious breakfast at 14 degree Celsius. did not expect that. Also I expected more birds to watch.

amazing set up and views

we were there on our honeymoon and don’t feel things were made extra special for that, however the service and set up was very special in general! it is a shame breakfast isn’t included in the price. the hot tub sadly wasn’t very powerful (this was even after getting staff to help which did improve it)
