The house is in a superb location - across the road from the beach and right on the SW coast path. Chris and Jane are lovely, friendly and welcoming hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us. We stayed in the king/twin room which has a fabulous sea view - and we had a very comfortable night's sleep. It was lovely to have fresh milk for tea in the room, rather than UHT cartons. Breakfast was very hearty and cooked fresh to order - you just choose your breakfast time and what you'd like to eat the evening before. We ate at the Dolphin Inn, a five minute walk away in the village - great food and reasonably priced. It's an old house with quirky (but beautiful!) decor. If you're after a clinical and minimalist aesthetic, it may not be for you. But if you appreciate good food, comfort and a warm welcome in a lovely spot, then it's perfect!

Bedside lamps weren't really good enough to read by - but who cares?! After a day walking the Coast path, you just want to sleep anyway.

Seaview from our room, excellent breakfast and Mike's very warm and genuine welcome "there's only one rule, make yourself at home'". When we mentioned that we planned to go for a quick swim, he very kindly lent us a couple of dryrobes - this kind of nothing-too-much-trouble approach is hard to find and really set the tone for our whole visit

Hot water ran out so had to wait a while but other than that it was ok

Room was very comfortable, christopher was very friendly and accommodating,breakfast was excellent I would recommend a stay to anyone. We will certainly be staying there again. Thank you.

Nothing. Tried to bill me TWICE. OVERCHARGED BY £30 too.

No one in on arrival. No key. No instructions. Turned up at midnight. Owners had locked me up. Had to ring doorbell (Silent, only goes to owner). Came out threatening me and tried to make me go away. Luggage has been tampered with.

Lovely breakfast , super room and en-suite even a great television selection

Such a lovely place to stay - both location and house, with a lovely peaceful room overlooking the beach. The host, Christopher, was friendly and helpful, and equally respectful of space. I was easily made to feel at home.
