It was our third time at this beautiful place and it is still as unique as it used to be. Paradijs Eiland is a great vacation house. Here you can feel the natural tranquillity of the Netherlands.

The hosts were really lovely. The views of the lake were stunning. The jacuzzi was really nice although, through no fault of anyone, the weather was far too hot to enjoy it.

A little pricey for our budget. The kitchen area was really dark with very low lighting. There should have been, in my opinion, facilities for any less than mobile guests. We had a disabled friend visit (for which we had permission from the host) and the toilet was unfortunately impossible for our guest to access. We were offered the use of a toilet in another building but this would not be ideal for anyone actually staying in the property. To be fair we haven’t any mobility issues and it was booked with that in mind.

An amazing little paradise! The place where you can escape from reality, relax and spend a romantic weekend.

This place could not have a better name; Paradise Island. Because it IS! This is an absolute gem of a place. When you enter the premises, you think you are in ancient Rome - or Greece. You are in a PARK, with statues, villa's, temples, and a LAKE. And Paradise Island has its own ancient gate, then a bridge, and then you are on your own island. The view is AMAZING, it has its own deck with chairs and couches, and a wonderful jacuzzi. Large and HOT. And the cottage is out of this world. It has couches everywhere to lounge on, a kitchen, a cozy bedroom. And a FIREPLACE. The design is so tasteful and original, it is hard to describe. Everything was just perfect!

Beautiful view across the lake! The property had all the necessary amenities and was conveniently close to the local grocery store. We loved the spa bath, it was wonderfully relaxing.

My partner and I came to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was exceeded all expectations.The location was amazing! Super peaceful with ducks, black swans and fairy lights. Everything was so well done to the theme, it really felt magical! We appreciated all the extra touches. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
