Great location - access to everything by foot and parking available for cars. Overall vibe of the place is very restful - gentle views, pretty garden and tasteful decor

The breakfast is quite basic - fine to have a small menu, but could be a bit more refined.

Our room was dark and dingy. It was also backing onto a road which turned out to be a rat-run for the locals so we were woken very early in the morning by traffic - and particularly the wine trams who used it as a short-cut. There were only 5 sun loungers which is no where near enough for a property with 11 double rooms!!

A perfect location in a quaint back street reminiscent of an early era when life was so much simpler.

Location is superb - very easy access to the town centre etc. breakfast also excellent with lovely fresh fruit and yoghurt and a cooked breakfast too. Very helpful staff especially the owner who went out of his way to chat and help where he could.

No soap in the bathroom at the sink! When we asked the best they could do was to give us another shower gel tube. A little bar of real soap would be lovely. Also - there were no mattresses on the sun loungers. The owner explained that these were on order but it did make sunbathing quite uncomfortable!

A fantastic place, which makes you feel like being in the countryside, while actually located in the middle of Franschhoek. People are really friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

A very nice friendly and comfortable hotel ideally situated behind the main town area of Franshoek.

The room was comfortable but a little cramped with no wardrobe space to hang clothes- just a couple of hooks on the wall. Apart from that the staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.

The location to the high Street and restaurants is very convenient and all in walking distance. The owners, Lance & Belinda are extremely hospitable and their staff are all very attentive and happy to help with anything.

Room fairly small, but we expected that.

The location was just perfect to reach shops and restaurants all by foot. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Also we appreciated that we could arrange a later check-out, since our room was not booked after our departure.

Fantastic location for the wine tram and really friendly staff.

The room was exoensive compared to other hotels we stayed in in South Africa but this may be reflective of the prices in the area

All perfect except we would have appreciated a torch for power cuts. in our room in total darkness for two hours. No staff to ask for a torch
