There was only one time the security guard yelled at us because the card did not allow us to swipe in to enter. Besides that all else was good.

Quiet building, friendly security personnel, great views of Zona Sul and Lago Guaíba (Lake Guaíba), Entrance D to BarraShopping is just 30 seconds away by foot and is in the same complex, area great for jogging and cycling.

Not very clean. Furniture is not moved to be cleaned under. Only one ring to cook on - second one was broken. It’s an apartment for gods sake! No can opener or corkscrew. I bought former and was given latter by owner. The screw wasn’t wide enough pull out the cork!! Absolute minimum cutlery and plates etc

no freedom. unable to receive visitors. feels like a police station or prison. the unit was not clean on arrival. bed linings were dirty. shower was dirty. kitchen sink was always blocked. wasing machine was dirty. owner unable to communicate in english. access was denied at gate many times. very inconvenient.

The location is wonderful, the building is beautiful, very modern and functional. Access to the local is easy and so it was the access to the apartment. The apartment is very well set and beautiful. The riverfront view is breathtaking.

As a guest you have the right to go and to use the apartment. Period! If they could they would deny a guest to the elevator usage. A guess is forbidden the use the rear door, which is a shortcut to the shopping mall adjacent. By coincidence, my forty year old nephew, his wife and his in-laws, a couple on their 70’s where in town so they came by to say us hello and were barred by the front desk staff because it is not allowed to have more then two visitors at the same time. I had informed the front desk in charge of theirs arrival and he did not mentioned anything about the restriction so I confirmed with my nephew they could stop by, otherwise I would set other place to meet. Upon their arrival the front desk person I had spoken had left and the one in charge was the one who did not allowed the visiting. We decided, therefore, to walk by to the shopping mall and not even their car was allowed to be there for an hour. I even paid the whole bill at the restaurant we went just because I was felling embarrassed by the whole situation. By that time I was even considering extending my period sending the person I had contacted to rent the place and because of that I rented other place right the way. The very next morning I started moving my luggage to the other place and left my wife finishing the remaining packing and cleaning but a staff guy RUN after my car almost affirming that I was leaving, maybe, who knows, insinuating that I was wrong-doing someways. I would recommend other travelers to be aware of these restrictions and the awkward treatment the reserve to guests over there.
