The restaurant was excellent, and the restaurant staff were superb. I would highly recommend people go there to eat. The public rooms were impressive and well styled.

The check in was poor, the male receptionist was brusque and did not make us feel welcome. A very poor start to our 3 night 3 room stay. The bedrooms look directly into peoples apartments 2 mts away. This cannot be helped in a city but there were no voiles or screening to defect the view so the main curtains had to be closed in the day time which is not satisfactory. The rooms are very plain, verging on being clinical.

Stedet kan virke lidt formelt. Det er vigtigt, at alle medarbejderne er imødekommende og smilende over for gæsterne.

- some of the front line staff at the reception seems inexperienced in handling clients’ questions or requests - Rooms could be upkeep and maintain better - can provide with hair towels and please consider to add some hooks for hanging face towels - marble sink top could maintain better and remove the stains

A beautiful building which has been expertly renovated into a stylish hotel. The staff were very welcoming and our room was beautifully appointed. We were served an excellent meal from a varied, and different, breakfast menu.

Wifi speed was very slow.

I couldn’t make the room cooler than 19 degrees, so I found the night a bit too hot.

The hotel was stunning, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made so welcome, and looked after. Our room was gorgeous and quiet you’d quite forget you were in the centre of London. It was my partners birthday, and we returned the our room to find a lovely chocolate cake waiting for us. The cocktails were exceptional and the food in the restaurant delicious…can’t wait to go back!

The staff at Reception, one is particular has no business being in the hospitality industry, she is clearly disgruntled with her life and shows it while facing customers. Not a nice ‚reception‘ in such an esteemed establishment.

Amazing location, right next to Tower Bridge. Such a beautiful area to explore and made for special morning walks before the craziness of London. Hotel is beautifully renovated, testament still from it's past as a school, very fancy inside, room was lovely, big ceilings and windows. it felt fresh and light, amazing features in the rooms and lovely bathrooms. Service from staff was faultless.

Housekeeping poor; bath towel reeked of woodsmoke, no hand towels, no bath mat. Tiny amount of shower products for two people which were not replenished for the second nights stay. No breakfast tea sachet only herbal etc. Having asked for towels nothing appeared so I had to go to reception to ask. No apology for the absence merely an apology for the delay. Not impressed.

My room was very noisy next to the street so I didn’t sleep much! Strange thing - they ask guests to leave their key at the front desk if you leave the building. Taking the school theme a bit far! 😂 needed more towels - didn’t have even a hand towel / hair towel just a bath towel

We chose this property for its location, close to the Bridge theatre. The room was very comfortable. We had not understood that this hotel, although in its history had been a school, was now managed by an Indian concern, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was wonderful. The dining room was probably the school auditorium, beautifully appointed and had us continually looking at all the details, having to walk to the next level to get a really great pgoto.. You could choose western (English) breakfast or an Indian based breakfast. Our waiter kindly allowed us to have a small sample of some of the Indian food. We will return.
