the host was absolutely terrible… the apartment itself is beautiful, peaceful quiet and quite spacious

we were charged 20 euros for electricity for three days the host only put 8-10 euros cash power, the power went off at night and we stayed in the dark for hours before we could get someone to buy power… there were no toilet rolls in the bathroom… and she wasn’t reachable when I tried to call her phone to make complaints… overall I will give it a 5/10 value for money I would say 4/10… I PAID FOR THE UPPER FLOOR AND WAS GIVEN THE GROUND FLOOR WITH NO EXPLANATIONS…

The staff and hostess, Sophie were very friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous, clean, beautiful (well decorated) and welcoming. Great location with lots of restaurants in the area and a beautiful beach.

The staff was not warm and accommodating. We arrived late (10 hours late) due to Gambia border being an absolute mess. I am sure the staff is aware of this but she was acting as though it was our fault that we were late. She said that she needed to go to bed— how professional! We also had to pay cash when the reservation was made with a credit. Please take cards moving forward. It is a big inconvenience to pay cash especially when it wasn’t mentioned previously. Also, the electricity cut off because the 500 dalasi that she claims she initially put expired after 3 hours of us being there. We had to reach out to her to add 1000 dalasi for 24 hours because we didn’t want to be without electricity. I still don’t understand how 500 expires in 3 hours and 1000 worth of electricity lasts days. I truly doubt that people pay $29 worth of electricity every 2 days in Gambia. Why not include a rate that makes sense into the overall total for the client so they won’t have to deal with all this!
