Location, view, apartment and Marta were all execellent.

Noise during weekend nights downstairs on Paseo de Las Canteras.

Location is perfect, the view from the window is amazing. Apartment is very comfortable, we had a wonderful stay here.

Location and view

This place looked new and cool in the pictures and just as new and cool IRL. Centrally located with a view down the paseo and a tiny beach (Playa Chica). If you're looking for an apartment in the middle of everything, this might very well be it. Feels mid way between those huge hotels in the north, and Las Arenas shopping mall and surfers in the south. Getting the key was a breeze and took literally one minute. Main windows in the apartment (livingroom) faces direct north, which means a pretty nice view and never any direct sunlight. There's lots of space for clothes. We were able to completely unpack and remove suitcases, and would probably have been able to stay even for a longer period and feel home. The place was completely clean with no exceptions and we found all bed sheets to have that fresh, crispy and clean feel. There are 2 small elevators to 5th floor, and the huge end window towards the beach easily opens up completely, to get you that "living near the ocean"-feel. All in all like that perfect balance between something rented and home. Though we generally didn't need Marta, she was quick to reply messages with the few questions we had.

We found the bed to look really good at first sight. But later on found it to be warn out with a big, compressed area in the middle. You simply sleep partially submerged down in a hard hole, even if the bed looks pretty new. Bit of a nuisance. We also found this apartment, facing direct north, to be completely in the shade of other buildings, all day. Which is maybe very, very pleasant at summer - but much more of a nuisance in cooler winter months. We found, as an example, bath towels that we used monday morning, were still moist and damp on tuesday evening. This goes whether windows were open, closed, or a combination. And no matter where exactly they were left drying. I also noticed our folded clothes, being brought totally dry from northern europe, had a very moist or damp feeling to them after just a few days in the closet. There's no heating source in the apartment which is probably completely normal in the Canaries! Lastly we found kitchen utensils left some to be desired. Especially knives are going to be a problem in case you are cutting anything harder than bananas. This seems to often be the case in Spain, also, you're very likely to eat mostly out (maybe unless you're on a budget) - thus, quality of kitchen knifes would obviously not prevent us from coming back. :)

Nothing

Spent 2 weeks there and there are nothing to complain of. Very clean, peaceful, great view straight to the sea and El Paseo. Good and easy communication with Marta and Pol. Thanks a lot once again .
