Everything was amazing- the location is so peaceful. The lodge is well equipped and we loved the fire pit ! Access to the jacuzzi is really an added value. The owners are absolutely lovely and always there to answer queries.

It was great to be staying with animals in the back garden, it was very clean and tidy, Emily was lovely and easy to talk to and contact. Enjoyed all of it and would go back every year!

Lodges had everything we needed and Emily was an amazing hist who couldn't do enough for us!

we loved how cosy it was and we loved that we had a little covered decking… the animals outside our lodge were brilliant the kids loved it Emily was fantastic as my little girl needed calpol 10 mins before the bells, she went out of her way to find us some and came over with it I was truly grateful for this ❤️ so thank u we would love to return for another visit

The lodge was absolutely brilliant place was spotless & staff lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay we will definitely be back, we are booked up again for April, its my daughter's birthday an also mine just day apart,, would highly recommend your place to anyone, & lovely touch with home baking & fresh milk, the hot tub & sauna was right next to our lode & was in seperate building really enjoyed it,, cant wait to come back 💜🥰

Set in a beautiful countryside location, with animals in the field behind us, this was a perfect place to spend a peaceful family Christmas together. The property was the best equipped one I have ever stayed in, everything we needed was to hand. The hot-tub and sauna added to the luxury of our stay, as did the tin of home made chocolate fudge the owners Emily and Gary left for us on our arrival. The property was very clean, warm and comfortable. We will definitely be returning soon!

Excellent value for money with everything we needed. We booked the Hayloft cottage which was cosy & comfortable and had the added luxury of a private hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen and the piece of home made lemon cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Loved the goats, donkeys and chickens outside our window.

The only thing we would change would be the distance to the main lakes and towns. Even though it was in a lovely, quiet village we had a 40-50 minute drive each morning. Other than this though we would still highly recommend this as an excellent place to stay.

Spacious lodge in a peaceful location, with very good facilities. Overall a great weekend, will be booking again in the near future.

Lovely location and the hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. All the small touches were fantastic, especially the homemade cake on arrival. Will be booking again in the future!

Good location in relation to local family. Ideal for us as two brothers having separate rooms. Good facilities provided.

Beds were a little bit uncomfortable but that may have been an age thing!

We had a really relaxing time. The facilities were excellent, The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Own hot tub was a big bonus.

We booked 2 lodges for a family meet up. We were delighted with the whole weekend. The hot tub and sauna were a real treat and having the 2 lodges gave us lots of space for everyone. Very friendly welcome and the home made cakes were a treat. Lovely area with lots on the doorstep to explore. Will definitely be returning when we can :)

Beautiful location with amazing size lodges. Wonderful facilities and pretty close to everything if you have a car. Hot tub was amazing. Lovely friendly donkeys too !

Brilliant log cabins in the middle of tiny village. We stayed in Skiddaw Lodge which was utter perfection! On arrival it was lovely to see farm fresh milk and homemade cake left by Emily and Gary for us to enjoy. The rooms were spacious and cosy, beds were extremely comfy and everything was spotless and clean. We rarely left the site as we had everything we needed there. Hot Tub and Sauna suite was amazing, booked in easily in the day and they even let us know we could have it for longer as there were not a lot of bookings for it. My friends and I think this could be our annually place for a catch-up, next time in the summer months so we can take advantage of the balcony and fire pit.
