We loved that it's tucked away in a convenient yet secluded location. The hospitality, cleanliness, and excellent value for money combined with the charming decor and unique rooms were well received and thoroughly enjoyed.

The elegance of Veranda House is undeniable. Thought and effort went into everything and we are so lucky to have found this gem

Private property with Swimming pool, rooms had everything and the service. Space fo picnic, nice view and pictures were great.

There were ants but most of properties have ants so not really a train smash.

It’s so rundown and tired. There was dirt from gardening when I walked in so I had to walk around it. The room was stuffy and bedding didn’t look clean because it’s super old. I use to love that place but definitely won’t be going back because it’s not being updated at all. I literally didn’t sleep there, I checked out 1 hour after checking in, that’s how bad it was.

Our housekeeper Matilda and the receptionist lady i didn't get her name definitely tried their best to make us feel at home. Matilda she's amazing please do recognize her. Her work is outstanding

Upon arrival our unit was dirty. Dust everywhere and the bathroom gave it away that our unit was never cleaned. That got me very disgusted because I've been visiting veranda for quite some time I've even hosted my event there but the standard of the place has drastically dropped down. I reported the matter to the reception because my partner has started sweeping the floors and the dirt that came out of the unit was shocking. Honestly the experience ruined our first night but going forward Matilda our housekeeper was amazing she made sure that we ended up feeling comfortable she even changed our bedding because the one that we found i didn't even trust it at all. Lastly the place needs some serious maintenance, i so wish that management can look into that.

The size of the rooms. How close the rooms were to each other, we spent the time as friends. The pool and jacuzzi, the aesthetic of the rooms. Staff friendliness, more beautiful in person

The place is beautiful. Quite and secluded.

-Driveway to the place is not graded. -I found old curtains and other things stuffed under the bed. Rather store them in the cupboards.

The place was cute and clean. Staff very friendly. They moved us to a bit of a bigger room, which was very nice. The roast chicken was tasty and their breakfast was also decent.

The road getting there is a bit rough. There where 2 roosters making a bit of noise in the early hours of the morning, if you a light sleeper it might be a problem. The wifi was down, but i guess it was because of the rain and not the fault of the establishment.

We got the smallest unit however the staff made sure we were comfortable contributing to our wonderful stay.We loved everything about our time there.A huge thank you to the staff they really made our stay extra special ❤️

The outside was depressing. For a minute I thought was at the wrong location. The grass was unkept, and untidy. The entry way grass was a tall as I am (other entrance). There had no alternative power when there was load shedding so we had to be in the dark.

Admin lady was very friendly and went an extra mile to assist

size of the room fine . bed was clean and comfortable. TV was screen blue, could not enjoy the movies while relaxed.

the back door was not locking I felt unsafe. TV screen blue, I could not enjoy the movies while relaxing. breakfast was horrible - two eggs and two toasted bread and no juice to go with it. no bacon, no beans, no tomato. just dry brown bread and two dry eggs.

The rooms were nice and spacious

It was dirty & old and not like the pictures. The pool are was dirty and the couches outside smelly and dusty. The breakfast was sent super early we were not asked prior, just heard a knock that our food is here.

They obviously run out of money to maintain the property and now they are trying to still take bookings to pay water and electricity.

Room and the facilities

Pool and Jacuzzi were not clean enough. The manager was also a bit rude and not accommodative to requests like a delayed check out and early breakfast.

The parsley unit is great,high ceilings,nice light fixtures,bed super comfortable OMG the patio with outside bath tub that was amazing experience 😍 The host/staff super friendly....had a great time it was bittersweet to check out and fo back to reality.. Our 10th wedding anniversary was celebrated in style with the help of host/staff💞

Everything else was great. The place was very quiet. Clean. Hot water . Location far from city noises

There was no TV and Netflix connection There were roaches and ants The breakfast was a repeating of the English breakfast

I liked the idea of being zoned out for a few hours .

I guess my timing was out, the construction noise was unbearable . I assumed the property offered extreme privacy , but I felt none of that , I stayed dressed most of my stay there .

The food, I wouldn't order food from the facility again it was not worth my money. I had to re-cook the chicken which is something I was avoiding, Cooking
