Poor, confusing check-in with the group. Staff member was not trained and did not know or understand the Popia Act - transferred my personal check-in details incl. ID number, address and tel no from behind the counter to the counter top while he was not there. Room numbers/names confusing. Not welcoming at all, despite us filling the entire establishment. One room had a missing aircon remote.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. This place is very central and close to the Knysna Waterfront. The facilities are beautiful and clean. The breakfast was great.

The location was amazing, the atmosphere was exactly what you look for in a holiday. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our trip. The outside entertainment area was clean and available for you to use at any time.

The breakfast could be better, more time needs to be spent on preparation and quantities, working together with the number of guests staying at the facility (you rather have more food than less, people will always get up for more if there is more but tend to take less then they require if there is less food, or they will not think of the other guests who still have to eat).

Beautiful guest house. The architecture is appealing. We were allocated rooms next to each other with our daughters as we had requested. Although smaller than we had expected, the rooms were comfortable. The ambience of the guest house is excellent.

We were greatly disappointed with the breakfast. It was meager and poorly prepared, only two rashes of bacon which had been siting in the warmer all morning and had dried and a small serving of scrambled egg with baked beans. No mushroom. No tomato. This was brought into sharp focus after we had proceeded to a guest house in Oudtshoorn, on our next leg of our trip, that provided a generous serving of buffet of full English breakfast. I won't fault the staff for this as they were only following instruction from management.

Staff Friendly & Facilities are very nice

The instant Coffee served at breakfast is not nice needs to be at least filter coffee. The breakfast was very basic and I hope the owners address this.

Beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. The facilities are great. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Kitchen staff was rude, we were told eggs were finished 45 minutes before breakfast cutoff time. Food was not well prepared.

Affordable for the quality and feeling like you are in a home away from home :)
