Amazingly close to the historic centre of Troyes.

The apartment was very hot and there were no chairs and the two kitchen stools were not securely constructed. I was woken up at 1:30am when neighbours returned to an adjoining apartment and again between 2:30 and 3am when someone held a telephone conversation so close to the apartment door that I could hear the voice of the women at the other end.

The location and the price.

The snoring neighbour(sickest thing I have ever heard, thought it was a horse or some error with mechanic ventilation). The keybox which was a miracle that we could open - be harsh on that.

The room was nice and clean. It has a Kitchen area, which I did not use.

I did not care for the area, there is no sign identifying the property as you approach from across the street, and coming in at night, it is a bit dark and seedy. At the door entrance, you have to negotiate a lock box outside to get the keys to get in. (I wish this had been explained to me beforehand) Then it’s up a set of seedy looking stairs to the second, or third floor? I forgot. It’s basically an airbnb, but with no host. You get the code the night you come in. There is some kind of construction maintenance work going on outside the room when I got there. Bathroom was nice; did not take pics though.

Pretty much everythingi

It is a nice apartment. Small but very well stocked with everything one could need. A little visit from a neighbor's cat (not in the apartment) was cute. During our stay there was the covid lockdown, so we did not explore much. But this apartment gave us everything we needed.

The stairwell could be some what of a shock, the apartment itself is cool and complient with the pictures on booking.com. perhaps fix the showerrail. That is the only thing I can think of that would need some attention. The rest is great (more then) value for money!!

Thé narrow stairs to the 2nd floor. No smoke detector and not sure if escape in the event of a fire

Excellent location parking nearby. Free juice and water in glass bottles so no plastic waste

Communal area was very messy and the wiring was a little unsafe in that area
