We were in house number 2 which is just a minute's walk from the beach. We encountered a few minor issues with the coffee maker and the grill not working that the host dealt with the same day that we let her know about it which was helpful. We all had a memorable vacation.

We had a great experience staying at this property! This is our 6th straight year staying in Wells and this was the best one yet. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Walking out the door and onto the beach for sunrise…. Doesn’t get better than that! Check in was easy and Sophia was responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again.

As always, since we have stayed here over 3 times, we love it and the location. Sophia is an excellent communicator and host, and the new addition of the stairs leading down to the beach is a huge improvement. We sure are happy here!

The place was very convenient for beach access.

Our family consisted of 5 adults and 4 children (9,6,3,3).
The downstairs area became a playroom-tv room and that gave the adults quiet periods in the upstairs kitchen.
Being on the beach side was perfect. The older kids could go back to the house without having to cross the street.
Everyone had a great time and the house had everything needed.
Sophia was very responsive and easy to work with.

We a great time visiting our brother in Wells for the week. We were looking for a place with beach access and a separate space for our teenagers to hangout. This place fit the bill perfectly! The house was clean and the owner was very responsive when we had an issue. The view of the ocean from the living room was better than we were expecting. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this home. We rented both the
front and the back houses as we were a group of 6 couples and 3 kids ranging from 13-6 years old.
The beach access was definitely the appeal of the house, we were able to spend quality time together both in the house and on the sand without making a huge production of traveling to the beach everyday.
Sophia was responsive to all of our questions and concerns and we would definitely stay here again.

The house is steps away from the beach which is very convenient and the host has an entire shed filled with beach chairs which was nice to not have to bring our own. A/C in each bedroom was a plus. One negative was The stairs are winding and very dangerous as we did have small children, however there was a gate at the bottom and a door at the top to prevent them using it alone. The host was quick to respond with contact. Driveway is a tight squeeze but we did fit 3 cars fine. The outdoor shower was great for cleaning off after the beach. Overall we had a great stay

Overall, nice property and excellent location. Having the kitchen on the second floor took some getting used to. It was stocked for general cooking, which is great, but could use a can opener. Washer/dryer was very useful. Beach chairs were a great offering. We had a lovely stay with splendid weather!

My family has been making our annual trip to Wells for more than 30 years and this year we needed to rent a new house, luckily we found this gem! Seconds away from the beach and ocean, this place was everything we were looking for. We had a great time and look forward to our return next year!

Fun for all ages.
We had a wonderful time. Did you find 2pairs of childrens sunglasses? Plenty of space for evreryone to enjoy. Very clean and well cared for.

Beach week with grands
We had the perfect beach week! Easy access! Perfect for 3 kids and 3 adults! Beach was perfect! Playground, billies chowder house!, the arcade! We had a blast!

The place is a little smaller than the pictures show. We slept 6 and it was fine. The experience was very much worth the trip.

Reunion weekend
Just steps to the ocean which was great and location was great - walking distance to Mile Road. Sophia was very very responsive and helpful for questions which we appreciated. Was just one thing - for our particular group of 6 (plus child) we found it difficult to find a location in the house to gather (since kitchen on upper floor and larger area for sitting on lower floor). Overall, it was a good rental and we were grateful to have found it for our reunion weekend. Thank you, Sophia!

Perfect Oceanfront Home
Sophia is wonderful and accommodating. We arrived early and she let us go in, changed into our suits, access the chairs that were there for us to use, and we went down to the beach. We were extremely happy with the house and location, and booked the same week in 2022.

Location (and responsiveness) can't be beat!
This is a really great location even though you are the second house of a 2-house oceanfront lot. It takes less than 30 seconds to walk onto the sand! House is kept in great shape and clean and the owner Sophie is very easy to communicate with and quite responsive.

Great beach house
We loved our stay at Beach House #2. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The air conditioners were a much welcome perk as two days of our stay were about 90 degrees. Would definitely stay at the house again!

Great location on amazing beach
The house is located on Wells Beach, which is beautiful. Sand was so fine and soft. The house was very clean and well maintained. They provide everything. Kitchen was well equipped and the linens and towels were great. The only thing to mention is that all the beds in the house are full sized so it is hard for 2 grown adults to share a bed. Other than that it was a great stay.

Excellent Family Vacation on Wells Beach
Our family of 4 had a great week staying in Beach House #2 at Wells Beach. Central location on the beach side of Atlantic was perfect for walks to the Jetty or down to the square for ice cream. Sophia was super responsive and helpful! Overall, excellent property as described. We wish our friends could have made it - maybe next time!

Great beach getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at Sophia's Wells Beach house! The home was extremely clean, had everything we needed and the ability to see the beach, hear the waves and get our toes in the sand in just steps was exactly what we were hoping for. The AC worked on warm nights and the heat worked great on the cooler nights - and the two separate living areas was an added benefits with two little ones running around. The beach is right there but there are also great little trails to explore close by too. Thanks Sophia - great property and appreciate your prompt communication throughout our stay!

Perfect Location
This house was perfect size for 2 families. It was very warm and welcoming upon arrival. It had everything we needed. The beach was absolutely beautiful and being just a 30 yards to the beach made it easy to have lunch and come right back. We would stay here again for sure, It was such an enjoyable family vacation.

This was a last minute vacation when the pandemic slowed enough for us to feel comfortable traveling a short distance. Someone had canceled and we were Lucy enough to be able to take advantage of it. The process was easy, the homeowner was lovely and available, the beach was over the top. We had a great to me!

Worked well for us
2 families for a total of 8 of us. It worked great, close to the beach. It was very clean and well maintained. AC in most the bedrooms was a plus. Parking was very tight for our 3 vehicles.

Wonderful time at the beach
My family stayed at this property and had a wonderful vacation.
We were a group of ten with five adults and five children.
The property was roomy enough so that we were not under each others feet. The kids had plenty of room in the downstairs living room to hang out and play games, when we were in the house.
The beach was wonderful.

Awesome location, steps from the beach!
Sophia was an awesome and flexible host. The house was immaculate and the location is perfect. Steps out the door and your feet hit the sand. Ocean views from the house. Will rent again!
