I had such a lovely time. The daily breakfast was wonderful and the Host Pillar bakes cakes and provides wonderful local pastries daily. She helped me book taxis and made suggestions on what to see and do. My room was quiet. Private, clean and comfortable. I had my own microwave and kettle. The floors were heated as the nights were a bit cool so the room was very cosy. The place is about 35 mins out of town but the train is close. I opted to take taxis which was a bit expensive but I did not have long in Barcelona only ten days and wanted to make the most of it. The food was wonderful and I enjoyed the sunny days and the hop on hop off bus is a great way to see the city. The B and B is in a seaside area and the little town is 10 mins walk and there are restaurants and a few shops and the beach is wonderful. So yes all in all it was just a perfect get away to rest and recharge and spend some time in beautiful Barcelona. Thankyou Pillar I will be back for sure xx

It's a nice private house, not far from the city center.

First of all the owner of the house does not speak English... at all! This was a big problem for us because we don't speak Spanish. I can understand Spanish but cannot speak so the communication was a mess. Second of all, and the main problem, the owner asked me what hour we'll get there but didn't tell me why she needed this information and at that time I thought the check-in works as you expect from a hotel but it's more of an airbnb. I received a message one day before, noticing me that the room is ready after 2pm. We arrived there at 2, the house was closed and when I called the number on the booking I hit the language barrier. Long story short, our room was not ready because I said that we'll arrive later, even though the message said the room is ready. The surprise was that the host let the guest before us check out later so we had to wait around three hours before checking in. I understand it was as a misunderstanding but I wanted to be told before what's going on and why she needed the arrival hours. Also, the breakfast is basically your home kitchen with supplies you can cook for yourself. Nice idea but if there are other guest that just take the containers from the fridge and put them on their table is not like you can sit next to them and just share the food like a nice family 😅

The lady host was so lovely, very welcoming. Beautiful home. Spotlessly clean. In a lovely location away from the busy centre of Barcelona. Lovely fresh breakfast.

A TV in the bedroom would be good and a couple more pillows.

Breakfast was exceptional. Our hostess was welcoming and non intrusive. She was a delight to talk with. Breakfast options were many. Food was good.

The host is very lovely lady knowing how to please and meet the requirements of the guests . She is perfect host.

Pilar is a great host, she helped us organizing our trips and she offered us everything we needed. Premià de mar is a very small local village close to the sea and everything you need is just 5/10 minutes walking from home.
