It is a lovely, well appointed house with great views. Stairs up and down from the front sitting room aren’t noticeable. We had 2 falls. Steps should be marked. Listing should indicate that the house is not appropriate or safe for someone with mobility or balance issues. Upstairs bedrooms were too hot & basement bedrooms were too cold. We discovered a thermostat behind the MB door at the end of our stay. Need instructions on using the thermostats and whole house fan. Tub/shower in the upstairs shared bathroom isn’t safe. High step to get in, no hand rails, no towel rack near the tub, not enough non-slip material on the tub floor. The tub drained slowly. House address is hidden from the street. It should be noted in the check-in instructions as to how to locate it. Mattresses in the MB and one of the twin bedrooms should be replaced. Extremely soft. In the first room in the basement, the metal bed frame sticks out a few inches causing a hazard at night. Adding mirrors to bedrooms without them would be helpful.

Enjoyed the well worn ambience of the house, like visiting an old friend. The views throughout the house were stunning night and day. Landscaping has matured to provide privacy. Updates to bedding, furniture etc., is always appreciated by guests.

Very clean well stocked home in a well positioned location. Close proximity to all attractions and wildlife everywhere. Beautiful view of Cheyenne Mountain out your back door. Plenty of room in the home for a large group. Would highly recommend a stay at this property. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

This property was wonderful the view out our back doors was breath taking.

The house was in a great location for our activities. Multiple living spaces if have lots of family. House is on a hill with multiple houses around it. It isn’t as open as the picture appears.

The check in and check out process was easy. The property was just what we hoped for, even the wildlife showed up (every day) to greet us! The property was a little challenging for my mother due to all the stairs, but other than that our vacation was perfect! I will definitely be going through VRBO for our next family adventure!

Loved the home and the incredible views. Also enjoyed watching the deer walk through the property. Highly recommend.

We loved staying in this home during our trip. We were a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, etc. The view was AMAZING! The house was well-stocked with anything we would need from towels to bedding to kitchen utensils. We would highly recommend for families traveling in this area.

We stayed for a week with my sister and her family. We were able to take the 3 rooms upstairs and then the 2 rooms downstairs so it was perfect! There is plenty of common space to hang out and enough plates and items in the kitchen for us to host dinner a few nights for our larger family group that was in town. We had an issue with the internet the first day and the hosts were super responsive in helping to get it fixed. Overall a great place to stay!

Five br with very comfortable beds, 3baths well located for convenience, well -stocked kitchen with lots of seating space , just what we needed for son’s Army retirement celebration with many friends and family gathered. Thank you

We have stayed at VRBOs across the country and this was one of the best experiences. The house was clean, large, and had an amazing location. We had winter storm come through and we received over 12 inches of snow. They had the snow removal team there first thing in the morning so we could leave to attend the scheduled events. I highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the mountain and city views!

Only stayed two nights and we didn’t cook or eat any meals there but the house has everything you could ever need or want for making and eating meals. Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are elegant and well supplied.0

The stay was fantastic, plenty of space for the entire family. Place was clean ,well kept ,with stunning views of Cheyenne Mountain and the City lights. Hopefully we can do it again next EASTER

Great house very close to my brother's house. Awesome neighborhood. House is well equipped with thoughtful amenities like kid toys and books, full kitchen pots, pans, and utensils, and plenty of seating for everyone. Beds are comfortable and there are many of them. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Beautiful home in a great location. Driving distance to many attractions to satisfy families with people of all age ranges. I would definitely return to this home the next time I’m in the area.

This home is spacious and beautiful! It was very clean, had everything we needed and even had some extras for our kids, like a high chair and bouncy seat. We only used some of the space because we traveled with 2 young children but would love to come back with another family in the future. The location was perfect for us to venture out near Colorado Springs during our stay. You can't ask for a more gorgeous view of the mountains from the back of the house!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this suburban home in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. We spotted mama deer and their fawns in the driveway and backyard everyday, as well as just driving through the neighborhood streets. The house is surrounded very closely by other houses on all four sides; however, the deck was very private, mostly shielded from the houses next door due to the abundance of trees. The house was comfortable and very clean but could have used some replacements for scratched kitchen pans/utensils, niceties like potholders and extra blankets/throws and softer/thicker towels, as well as some home repairs (broken locks on screen doors, burned-out light bulbs, a running toilet off the kitchen, etc.). The master bathroom was amazing! The WiFi and TV worked fine, as did the heat. The house cooled fine with the doors opened in the evenings for a cross breeze. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip, as was the garage. For guests with mobility issues, a heads up that there are stairs all over the house, due to sunken spaces, and all large beds are located in the basement (except for the master bedroom). The property was just a short drive from Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Zoo, Manitou Springs and hiking opportunities. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Cheyenne Mountain house in Colorado Springs to all.

The WiFi was out but reset easily after a quick phone call with the property manager. The house is at the top of a long shared driveway with plenty of room to turn around in front of t.he house. This property was clean and had plenty of space for three couples and three kids. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a group of 9 as well. We especially enjoyed the many living spaces, large dining table, and patio. The property managers were quick to answer questions. We would stay there again! There are a lot of stairs, but that was no problem for us. We had a great stay!

This house was great. It is very big with tons of room. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. Location is great with easy access to everywhere. Great view from the back porch where we ate breakfast every day and deer would walk right by. Fully stocked with towels and paper goods. Highly recommend!

Amazing location! The neighborhood was very, very nice and I felt completely safe with my kids the whole time. We had a deer visitor every day! The house was beautiful and Ellen was an extremely kind manager who let us hang out a bit earlier. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at this property in Colorado Springs. The neighborhood was beautiful and the house was equipped with everything you need (even for babies & toddlers). Communication with the homeowners/hosts was exemplary throughout the entire process from pre-booking through our stay. The house is pretty close to restaurants and activities. The grocery store is at the end of the street which was super convenient. Scenery out back is beautiful and we loved the fire pit table. This property had plenty of room and everyone was very comfortable. The driveway was a little tricky turning in and out of because of the tight turn it’s on, but we got used to it throughout the week. Lastly, the neighborhood is very hilly which we loved for some exercise :-) we’d definitely stay here again!
