The Kitchen was well equipped. It was nice and cool inside even in the hot weather. The teens and children especially liked the use of the back yard and pool. Our host Cory, was friendly and welcoming!

The Starlight Suite in Coquitlam, BC is a cozy little home away from home. Comfortable, clean and quiet location with a beautiful view of the Rockies and close to all amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will likely revisit in the future.

The property was exactly what was described in on VRBO. Clean, quite and home place to stay. We stayed the off season for pool use, but still enjoyed our stay.

We chose this location as we were visiting our son and other family in Coquitlam. It proved to be a very good place to stay for several reasons. The lovely property is close to Coquitlam Centre, Lafarge Lake, Mundy Park and Rocky Point Park. There are also a number of good eateries nearby. The cozy 2 bedroom suite suited us very well although our son found the single bed much too short for him. The suite has a very well equipped kitchen and there is also a laundry room that can be accessed. Although there was a hot tub mentioned, we never located it. Our host (Cory) was very friendly and easy to deal with as well as being very accomodating and flexible as our plans changed.Cory always answered our questions or queries quickly and efficiently. We will definitely consider staying at this property in the future when in or around the area.

This is a perfect place for a family to stay, it’s safe and fun. Full kitchen, bathroom, laundry and two separate bedrooms. Host was amazing and accommodating, this was a better stay than a over priced hotel! Her service was over the moon and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! I hope to rebook in the near future !

We loved the pool during the heat of August--the suite itself was nice and cool. This was the perfect place for 4 adults and a child to stay while we were attending an event in the area, would highly recommend!

The host is lovely, very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The suite was perfect for us and we’ll equipped. It had some board games which we enjoyed playing whilst chilling out and the pool provided hours of fun. The location is perfect for exploring and we found some beautiful parks close by. I would definitely recommend the suite and would love to come back. Thank you for having us

Feedback
Location is great if you have a vehicle- we didn’t but Uber was very easy to use. Place was great but it needs some updates everywhere in the suite. Owner was very receptive and indicated that she was doing some improvements in the fall. It also would have been helpful with a dehumidifier as Vancouver is very damp and rainy (expected) but the suite was dampish.
Would stay again with some updates.

Perfect for a family getaway. Good location for all the major roads and 5 minutes from Coquitlam centre and SkyTrain.

Quaint Basement Unit
Starlight Suite is a quaint basement unit with two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom
and living room. There is an outdoor pool but it was too cold outside for us to utilize.
Cory is a friendly and communicative hostess, quick to reply to any of my concerns.
It is centrally located in Coquitlam. It could have been the time of year that I booked along with the damp cold weather, but the unit did not have enough fresh air. Other than that I can highly recommend booking with Cory !

Perfect spot to get a pool, close to Vancouver
After the covid experience and heat wave, we wanted a pool for ourselves, far from crowded spaces and a cooler place. That was exactly what happened. Everything was so easy. We had flatables toys and a lot of towels for the pool. Everything for cooking, enjoying nice time the 4 of us.

Great host!
Cory is a wonderful host, answering all your questions immediately and trying to keep you happy. We had a wonderful time using the pool especially because Cory allowed our grandkids to come swim with us. Property is very close to main shopping area with all the stores you might need. Just 5 -10 minutes to get to anything you want. Really enjoyed our time there and hope to go back sometime again!

The pictures are dated, but you do get everything you see on the website, and felt comfortable . There is laundry room that is shared by the the rental suites and the host, the time and days a are delegated well for privacy. We are considering returning if available, and renting the single suite as well!

Amazing location (but disappointing weather!!)
The property was fantastic. It had everything we could want including an abundance of towels, soap, hairdryer and the little things a lot of places don't have. Cory was an excellent hostess and we had several conversations when we bumped into her - and we were invited for a drink and cake for her birthday which was great. Location was amazing with easy access to shops and trains but in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Our only criticism was that the weather prevented us from appreciating the pool (which was not Cory's fault!!). We would definitely go back if we return to Vancouver.

Fun in the sun

Cozy spot with beautiful views
5 of us stayed here (4 adults and 1 child). Having a kitchen and coffee maker at our disposal was a bonus. We even did laundry. we had a wonderful time here and highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Handy Property outside of Vancouver
We had a comfortable and enjoyable two night stay at this property. It was perfectly located for our needs - visiting family in Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge - as well as having easy access to Vancouver. The property was well prepared for us - very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Liked location and the cleanliness! Found everything I needed for the 12 day stay. To improve I would suggest changing the mattress in the main bedroom- somewhat lumpy and uncomfortable. Other than that, very pleased!
