This was such a beautiful spot for a little mountain getaway. Great location. Loved being right on the lake. The fall colors were amazing too! We would love to come back to this cabin again!

We had a great stay here over Thanksgiving. Plenty of beds, kitchen items, bedding and towels. We were surprised the living room furniture was pretty beat up but was still comfortable. Not enough eating space, but we made it work. Downstairs was really cold some nights but tolerable with the bedding provided. View, hot tub and location were awesome! Would totally stay again 100%.

It twas a lovely cabin. Everything was perfect. The property management company was great to work with - very responsive. My only suggestion is that the signage at the property management company be more prominent. It was a little hard to find as it is inside a spa/hot tub store. Perhaps I missed earlier instructions advising this - it really wasn't a big deal and their excellent customer service more than made up this early snafu.

I came with my wife, dog, parents and siblings to relax and escape the heat and i was thoroughly impressed. the location felt secluded but was very near town. the lake is steps away and if you're not a swimmer there's a hottub with a worldclass view to relax in or stay dry on the back deck or even stay inside and soak up the scenery through the huge windows. despite the old-school charm of an a-frame everything inside was refreshingly modern without losing the comfort and beauty of a mountain cabin. was hard to leave, i can't wait to come back.

We spent 4 nights there. It was June gloom overcast in LA, but we drove above the clouds to sunny Big Bear days on the water! It was so beautiful. Loved sitting on the decks, sitting on the dock, and some dips in the hot tub with a great view. We brought our own corn hole to play on the sandy area, which was perfect. And sand toys for my 2 year old. We cooked most meals there and it had almost all the items we needed. (We brought our own good knives, spices, oils, etc.) And the location is phenomenal. Obviously it being on the lake, but also a quick drive to the Village. Any issues were small: --The floor didn't seem to have been mopped before we came, or at least could have been better cleaned. It was gritty. --A number of the light fixtures were difficult to figure out how they worked (we never figured out one of them) and we wished there was some guiding signage, a simple fix. --The bunk bed design in the main floor room is best for kids. It became a joke how often the two adults who used it kept badly banging our heads on it. And the other adults kept banging their heads on the spiral stairs on the bottom floor. We at least had fun with the total house head bump tally. --Bedding stuff wasn't our fave. If I went again I'd just bring my own pillow and duvet to sleep comfortably. But the pros of the house far outweighed anything else. We had THE BEST TIME. A magical place, truly. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

- why we have to check in at the property management for and I had to go, this is extra loss of time specially with snow - missing shovels to clear snow at driveway, we were stuck! - no shampoo, no soap for shower - no washer no dryer accessible (we really needed that cause we were soaking wet after the heavy rain on Saturday) - not printed welcome binder with the instructions, not everyone wants to read emails and get apps. - no bard games? no cards? - we have to take our trash??? so what is the cleaning fee for? I would not recommend this place nor I would stay again there. Very disappointed.

I had a great time with my family. The cabin is at a great location. What a treat it was to go outside the cabin and play in the snow. Enjoy our trip.

We were able to build a snowman and sled off the back porch. The bathrooms were updated and very nice. Only caveats were that the oven in the kitchen was dirty and therefore kept smoking and setting off the fire alarm when cooking. And, even though they warned us, I'm not sure why the property doesn't provide more than one trash bag and extra paper towels when we spent almost $4,000 dollars for a 3 night stay. Otherwise, we loved the stay, great location, and we created great memories as a family.

We loved staying at this property and didn’t want to ever leave. It’s such a beautifully designed elegant little cabin with the luxury of a hot tub in the snow. The location is absolutely fabulous. On the lake with stunning views that change with the sun.

This property was perfect for the 8 of us plus two dogs. Great views, nice kitchen and downstairs. Cool loft area for kids! Dog friendly, however we could not leave the dogs at the house while out on the town. Which complicated things slightly.

(We were a party of 8 so had plenty of groceries to store). Also, planned to cook in the oven, the oven didn't work. The days that we were booked there the temperature was in the mid 80's, the property had no A/C & held the heat, this made it very uncomfortable. Also, the cleanliness of the cabin was Horrible! I did speak with management about all these issues, they assured me that I would be compensated for all the inconveniences, but was not & have not been contacted since the stay there. I feel that this is VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! For a "4" day stay, I paid close to $2500.00. Very disappointed!

This place was disgusting and filthy with dog excrement stains on the rug. We walked out and did not stay here . Remove this property from VRBO . The carpet stunk. It was very very rundown and unclean. Dated and dirty . Nothing like the photos. Carpet should be pulled out .

There was a half eaten cheeseburger in the microwave. There was a fish hook stuck in one of the pillows on the couch that I drug my finger across...didn't feel good. The upstairs shower never gets hot. The jacuzzi didn't work for the last 2 nights of my stay because the breaker was old and kept tripping.All of that being said...the company did make many efforts to make things right. Their field staff is awesome. Their spa guy arrived at 7:30 PM to try and fix what couldn't be fixed at that time.

The house was clean and definitely had a cabin vibe. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We had a great weekend.

The cabin is in a really nice spot right on the water and close to town. We were there in February and had only searched for listings with hot tubs, but when we got there the hot tub was broken. I called the service people and they mentioned that it was missing a part and the rental company should have told us that. We were pretty disappointed but they did give us a small discount because of the hot tub issue. You have to download an app for the rental company that manages the cabin but the instructions in it are not helpful and very brief. Overall a good but not great experience.

I thought the online listing was very accurate! There was a hiccup with the hot tub when we arrived so we didn't use it, but the management company did offer to move us to a different location with a working hot tub. We decided to stay with this location anyway. Everything was good. Two things, there were some large cobwebs through out the house that might be good to get out of there (no spiders though :D) and the futon downstairs had crumbs on it from the prior guests, but the beds were all very clean and comfy. Overall, very nice and served our purpose. I would not suggest for people with issues going up or down spiral staircases. It's the only indoor option, so just a heads up :).

Had a lovey time in big bear with the family. The house was very close to the lake with a gorgeous view. Well stocked and very clean.

Loved the location. We had a little hill in the backyard which was enough for us to sled. The view was gorgeous

The view was spectacular of the lake. Hot tub was perfect! Plenty of warm blankets and the fire place was nice too, kept us warm. Master bedroom was so comfy! A great place for dogs too. Awesome holiday trip complete!
