In the winter time, the road proves to be a little interesting, but it is totally worth it. This cabin was so full of wonderful touches that we felt right at home. I will definitely be staying here again. The owner was wonderful and so sweet. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome our stay was. Highly recommend this cabin.

We really enjoyed how beautifully decorated the cabin was for Christmas. It was very cozy yet spacious, and clean. In the perfect location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving. The house was clean and spacious for the family.

When we first arrived we noticed the counters were dirty and there was dust everywhere. The location is nice but the house is old and not very well kept. The deck was in need of updates and the house also needed to be updated and cleaned. Owner is slow at communicating and didn’t have any emergency plan for bad weather. Power outage for almost a day and the only plan they had was “weather happens”. We know bad weather happens but when you’re in a new state and home that isn’t yours there should be a clear plan in case of weather emergencies and there was none. The only flashlight they had didn’t work and no effort was made to help provide solutions during the power outage.

Everything we needed was furnished including a pet welcome basket. High speed wifi with good reception. It was easy to find and centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even took a drive to the great smoky mountains national park which has three pet friendly trails. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. Property is perfectly placed in Cobbly Nob. Hosts were great as well. They informed us the Hot Tub was having issues and had them resolved as soon as possible. Would book again for sure!

Had a great time escaping to this property for the weekend. Beautiful location and very relaxing. Be forewarned-bring your necessities with you to avoid going into town-its 40 minutes to basically anywhere and traffic in the tourist areas is horrendous. Instead of fighting traffic just escape to nature and enjoy everything this cabin has to offer. And yes, we saw a bear!

It was a great cabin located in the mountains.

Property is nestled in woods on the side of the mountain. It is a beautiful setting. We feel the pictures don't describe the beautiful setting of this property. We had no issues with the house. Hot tub was super clean and enjoyed it every night. This is our fifth trip and by far the best views.. Saw Mama Bear and twin cubs the last day of our week stay.

We really did enjoy our time in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We were higher high up in the mountains enough that we could enjoy the rusticness of the cabin. If you wanted to be in the thick of things, we could also drive to downtown Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge. We did both. Some days if we were tired we would stay closer to the cabin and go swimming at one of the swimming pools. Afterwords, we would relax in the hot tub. It was nice to have a variety of things to do.

Quaint and cozy. In forest setting. Quietly secluded. Good for relaxing.

Place was an easy drive from Gatlinburg and rocky top sports world. Cabin was clean and comfortable during our stay. Hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. Community pool was beautiful!

We had a wonderful time in Bearadise. We stayed for a total of 6 nights. The cabin was really clean and homey. We saw bears right on the deck on the night we checked out. It was a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so we often left for the day and came back to enjoy the hot tub and relax.

Beautiful views, peace and quiet…this property is spectacular and you’ll love it! Comfy beds, an awesome hot tub…and across a week we saw bears right out the windows twice! We will definitely rent Bearadise for future trips to the Smokies in the future!

The property is nice and enjoyable, but the experience of going up the hills through such narrow, steep and curved roads are not to be taken lightly, especially when is dark. If you are traveling with a pet, please be aware that you might not be able to walk your pet far at night, very minimal street lights and the alerts of bears makes it even worse. We did not see any bears, but just the thought of running into one made me feel uncomfortable. The road that leads to house parking is a steep incline and the only way out is in reverse, but after trying a few times we felt more comfortable. Please bring your own food and essentials before heading up to the property.

We absolutely loved the location. The house was beautiful and cozy. We would definitely stay here again!

Bearidise is absolutely stunning, we booked the chalet for my youngest son's birthday this past weekend. We were not disappointed the home is perfect in every way for anyone who appreciates that at home feeling when you travel. We were completely blown away by the home, the amenities, and let's not forget the beautiful private view of the Smokies. We 1000 percent recommend this property and will definitely be adding it to our vacation rentals list. We look forward to spending vacations and creating more memories with our boys at this property in the years to come. Bearidise has marked a special place in our hearts forever ❤️

This property was not properly described. The 2nd level floor was very weak, about to cave in, there were nails sticking out of wall, part of the wall trim was hanging off, the deck was crooked. Just unsafe all around.

We stayed for a short time but it was nice. It was really cold until we bought wood and used the fireplace. Need better heating system. Very cute home.

The location of your property is beautiful but the property itself is tremendously lacking pride of ownership. The major issues with the home are: The heating system is not adequate. It certainly should be mentioned in the VRBO description that the wood burning fireplace is needed for chilly nights. Many visitors may have health issues with a wood burning fireplace so they should know this fact up front. The 3 heating units in the home are incredibly packed with dust that they are not working to their potential. The deck under the hot tub is certainly collapsing under the weight and is not built up to safety standards. There is a 10 inch sag in the deck from where it is attached to the home to the outside railing caused by the weight of the hot tub. Someone will eventually be seriously injured or worse if this is not addressed soon. The downstairs toilet gushes sewer water from under the toilet onto the floor whenever it is flushed. A serious health issue! This has been happening for quite some time due to the amount of mold along the floor and bathroom vanity. The vanity is actually pulling away from the wall due to the rotting floor beneath it. Large amount of mold in the first floor bathroom ceiling due to a leaking 2nd floor bathroom. Many outlet covers are broken and cause a serious safety concern for any child. Fire extinguisher is from 2009 and needs to be changed out every 2 years so it works correctly. There is a box of mouse poison in the lower cabinet right next to the pots and pans causing a serious health risk. I have photos of all these issues and more if you would like them. The owner did refund us a portion of the rent for these issues but we would have rather had a well maintained cabin as it was described in the VRBO listing.

The cabin had a really good view. The heating system isn’t that great in the cold of winter. Make sure to bring plenty of firewood to make up for that and to keep warm. The tv only has 9 channels, the dvd player doesn’t work. The Xbox upstairs is pointless as the controllers don’t work. We enjoyed our stay until we got a mean message from the property owner accusing us of leaving the cabin in bad shape which we didn’t. We vacuumed, did the dishes, swept the floors, and took the trash out. Not sure why we were accused of being filthy people and screamed at over the phone so beware of that!

We were in town for our son's wedding so we didn't spend too much time at the cabin. But when we were there, we found it to be nice, clean cabin. If I have one complaint it would be the cable channels didn't work. We didn't care because we didn't come down to watch TV. Overall we would stay again.

This property was a great little getaway for my family! Even our dog enjoyed it!

Overall our stay was good. We loved the actual property itself but upon arrival we had notice that there could of been a little bit better cleaning before we got there. The floors needed to be swept and the deck could of been clear of all the leaves. The heating system was a little confusing but once we figured it out it was all good. It would of been nice to have a little bit more channels to watch especially when there were a 9 year old who loved cartoons but once again it wasn’t quite a big issue we had brought our Roku and we were gone for most of the day anyways. But overall not a bad place to vacation had a really nice view of the mountain from the deck that we loved.

The property was perfect for us an a couple friends to get a weekend away. We had a little difficulty with the door code but Dave was right around the corner and came in no time to help get it situated and fixed! He was very hospitable and the house was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

Owner accommodating in rental process even though I made error in reservation request. Cabin comfortable, enjoyed the fire place, cooking with the grill, and my friend enjoyed the hot tub I really enjoyed all the bear decor! A nice place for retreat.
