Het was te warm op de kamer

Mooi ruim van opzet, prachtige natuur in de omgeving.

Het terras was vol, langs de rivier waren stoeltjes bezet, het benedenterras kon niet gebruikt worden, was voor het diner klaargemaakt; om aan de rivier te kunnen verblijven hebben we in het gras gelegen…, wat meer stoeltjes was fijn geweest!

Prachtige locatie aan de rivier, geweldig terras, rustige ligging, direct gelegen aan wandel- en fietsroutes. Veel comfort, goede service. Stijlvol. Erg lekker gegeten en het ontbijt was fantastisch.

We misten een klein ijskastje op de kamer, die luxe heette. De muziek tijdens het ontbijt (vage covers in ballad stijl) had voor ons niet gehoeven. Maar gelukkig konden we 2 van de 3 ochtenden buiten ontbijten.

Amazing view of the river (even saw a double rainbow), extremely tasty food at the restaurant and very accommodating staff, will stay again for sure!

The staff, reception. Trying to make it work for us and they did. Sauna included, which was nice (other then fletcher where you have tompay extra for it…). And late checkout without hassle. Secure bike storage, good beds, coffee in the hallway, fabulous restaurant. All in all, very hood and top-notch staff.

The hotel itself is a prestigious resort situated on the bank of the Vechte river, in a quiet and pastoral place. You could reach many interesting places to visit in a half-an hour or an hour of driving.

The hotel is expensive, while the restaurant on site is expensive even more. There was no refrigerator in the room. Thogh the our room had a laminate floor (I hate carpeted floors), there was a carpet under the bed (why? who needs it?). For sure, that carpet isn't vacuumed properly and we noted this. The shower, though surrounded by a glass cabin, has one side partially open, and taking shower always finished in a paddle on the bathroom floor, outside the shower.

we didn’t know how much our dinner was going to cost. however, the food was fantastic and so was the setting on the Terrasse, we didn’t mind! the breakfast was delicious too!
