Excellent location for anyone visiting the Showground. Room was equipped with the basics and spotlessly clean. Very generous tea, coffee & milk provision in room. Useful information provided when checking in out of hours. Rang ahead and arranged for the hotel to receive a courier delivery on my behalf - very kindly left it in my room. Fast & attentive breakfast service, good portion size.

Simple and cheap, super friendly staff.

Quite basic, but it is cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Quiet location, away of the main roads, ideal if you wish to have a good rest. Very friendly staff. We found our bedroom clean and tidy, beds, carpets bathroom, all in good order. Plenty of free car park slots, none bothering you with "pay an display" signs. Seems to be a safe area and Builth Wells is a good base to explore the surroundings

I would ask for some more variety of cereals and bakery bread.

Room was warm and shower was amazing

The check in was poor, I didn't see anyone - but man on the phone was informative and on hand if anything was needed. Light in bathroom kept going off whilst I was in the shower. Didn't like the fact that the fire extinguisher was left to keep the door open all night -anyone could of waked in - feeling a bit on edge as a lone female traveller.

very dark when driving to property, had to be directed over the phone by staff member, difficult to navigate in dark, ideally need more light to guide the way. Strange concept as no official check in, told by staff which room I was in and location of key, wasn’t a problem but not to use to this way of checking in.

Because i was on my way before breakfast was served i didn't get a breakfast or was offered something in its place so a little disappointed.

If i had been offered a pack up to take with me.

Host Ollie was great fun and very accommodating

I GPS'ed the trip but once I arrived I had trouble finding the entrance. While I was searching, I noticed 2 fire doors were jammed open which worried me. There was no receptionist. There was a mobile number but my battery was low. I was lucky that another guest arrived with a working phone. The kitchen was shut. The room was very clean and tidy. There was no directions in the corridors. There was no internal phone, There was a skylight but no view. The WiFi was excellent.

The food was great and staff friendly . Located right on the show ground.

The bedroom was so small and don’t expect bunk beds for two adults but could touch each wall with stretched out arms. I read bunk beds but thought ok must be a fair room though but nope. Bathroom attached nice.

Brilliant location, clean, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast.

My only tiny criticism was the bed was a little hard. wont put me off returning though.
