Wide ranging buffet breakfast. Excellent staffing in restaurant and throughout the hotel. Comfortable room with great views. Very pleasant stay and I fully intend to return.

Location great, nice easy walk to shops, restaurants etc. loved having the underground car park which was so handy. Room was very comfortable, we were in a quiet area and we both slept well. Good choice at breakfast.

The only negatives - the shower which was really weak and the pillows too hard.

The receptionist made us very welcome, her name was Lyndsay. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. We were given a parking spot right outside (disabled). One of the best hotels we have stayed in and we are well travelled!

The bar staff were very friendly and it was great to be able to get a bar snack until quite late - as we went to the evening session of the Turkish Baths.

Sadly nearly every hotel has jumped onto charging you for parking. I think all hotels miss a trick with their bars, the are over priced and very stiff, in town our 2 drinks were £12-15, in the Hotel it’s £23. No music on and it’s a waste of a good bar.

Very much a corporate feel to the hotel and some areas were not being used (presume temporary) but have to walk through them to get to breakfast area

The room was clean and have no issues other than the temperature was extremely hot and needed the air con on at all times.

Fantastic facilities. Bedroom had everything we required and the chocolate biscuits on arrival were much appreciated Breakfasts were well organised and finished plates and cutlery were promptly removed from table. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. my husband forgot his shaving kit - no problem just ask at reception. The plug in the wash hand basin jammed and we couldnt drain the sink - no problem, maintenance attended with 30 minutes. We will definitely be back

Rooms quite basic, quilt much too narrow! Needs to at least overlap the sides of the bed ! No sugar in the tea tray … a small thing but annoying if you take sugar! Stayed quite a few times over the years in this hotel and due to ‘cut backs’ now feels just somewhere to lay your head rather than it being a nice treat to stay in sadly.

Car park was closed - this was the main reason for booking hotel with secure parking underneath hotel. Especially as I had Christmas presents in car?? Had to use a car park 10 mins away from hotel - not happy……
